Serving The Villages, FL. A family run custom homebuilder, Harbortown Homes, Inc. has been building and remodeling fine homes since 1986, tailoring its final product to an wide range of markets. As a third generation builder, Rick Anderson, President and State Certified Building Contractor, grew up in the construction business in the South and attended both University of Miami and Georgia Tech pursuing a degree in architecture. His wife and business partner, Barbara, the Legal/Finance Officer, oversees all company financial obligations using her vast corporate banking experience. After moving to The Villages, Florida in 2000, he has helped over 400 families create their dream retirement home and personally supervised it through its completion. Harbortown Homes, Inc. received over 50% of its business from a referral basis, showing that the attention to detail works! Rick's vision for building is simple; he builds and remodels every home as if it were for his own family. Using his "hands-on" approach, we continue a zero tolerance technique resulting in a fine quality job and a high corporate standing in the community.

We were completely satisfied with the professionalism of Harbortown Homes. Rick and Mike were always available for our many questions and needs. From the planning stages to phased construction, every step was explained, From design to ARC review to permitting to inspection, everything was professional. There was no up front billing. Payments were made only when the work was done and to our satisfaction. Our biggest surprise was that everything was completed on budget,

HTH did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it and they didi it within budget. HTH are very easy to work with and concerned with the quality of work being done. Havwe used them for two projects and will use them on the third.

What a wonderful experience with professional and attentive service. Construction dates were on target and there were never any surprises. The quality of the work was superior and they always immediately responded to phone calls and questions. Highly recommend!

Extremely pleased with Harbortown Homes on our remodel project. They are experienced professionals that employ skilled subs. They check in weekly to give updates and scheduling, follow up and make sure each phase is done to their satisfaction as well as ours. We would, without hesitation, use them again, and we give our highest recommendation for referral.

My wife and I found that the owners of Harbortown Homes had the best plan for converting our lanai into a comfortable Florida room. We had not stepped out onto the porch for 7 years because of the heat, and now spend a good portion of our time in our Florida room. Harbortown homes did not require a deposit up front, but, billed only as work was completed. We not only would recommend them, but, hope to use their services again in the future.

Harbortown Homes provided excellent quality in every aspect of the project which was completed on time and under budget. Trust is essential when hiring a contractor and Harbortown provided complete trust and integrity throughout the project schedule. This family owned and operated business has the expertise needed to provide the guidance and assessment needed to select the correct options when finalizing the project scope, The project management was outstanding and ensured that our objectives were satisfied. We were impressed with Harbortown Homes, Inc. They clearly were very knowledgeable, and able to work with us, and the subcontractors to get various and many smaller projects done in one episode of time.... Solar tubes, granite counters, some new cabinets, subway tile backsplash, heat pump moved to garage, and pantry cupboard in place, as well as spiffing up the laundry area, and providing more storage in the walk-in closet. They also expanded our front patio/entryway and were able to keep the tree in place in the midst of the patio... The house is so much better looking now, and incredibly more functional!!! Being new in town, it was a relief to know that they were knowledgeable about the right sub-contractors to use to get the job done well, on time, and within the budget!!! It was also a relief to know if there was an issue it was there's to worry about, not ours!! We'd use them again without question!!!

Harbortown Homes gets most of it's jobs via referral as I did. They are quite busy for good reason - quality from start to finish. I wanted to completely enclose my 450 sq. ft. Lanai. While it took nearly four weeks to get an estimate, it was well worth the wait. Their quote was in the middle of four bids. Once the work started, there was some type of activity nearly every day, and Mike from Harbortown Homes checked in daily to make sure the sub-contractors were performing as expected. I am completely satisfied with the work and the supervision provided by Mike. The good news is that the final cost was slightly less than the quote provided. Do not hesitate to hire Harbortown Homes for your remodeling project.

Harbortown Homes is one of the best residential contractors I've encountered. We began converting a Florida lanai into a sun-room with extended birdcage and ultimately replaced all flooring, counter tops and crown molding in the entire house. The quality of workmanship is excellent and they are easy to communicate with. Michael Anderson project managed everything and I had no worries the entire time. Their pricing is more than fair and before we finished I felt like a member of the family. I got to know Chris the carpenter, Ernesto the painter and Omar the granite guy! It is great to know that if I need anything Harbortown is a text away.

On time excellent explaination of work to be done. Great referrences. Local contractor that does not require payment up front.
