I became a licensed contractor in 1978 after completing a bachelors degree in Civil Engineering and working in construction on and off for seven years to put myself through college. My father started his construction company in 1958 in Marin so I was constantly exposed to construction since a very young age. Over the years we have done hundreds of projects ranging from small deck projects to 4500 square foot houses. We are very versatile. Since the early 1990's, over 90% of our projects have been remodeling/additions projects. We average about one new house a year. There are about 25 people in our company and some of them have been working with me since the 1980's. Our business is very family oriented, in fact my wife, brother, sister, son, niece and nephew all work with me. The other employees are like family. We all look out for each other and our clients.
