In 2001, Elite Custom Builders (ECB) was incorporated by Matt Robinson. Matt brings 25+ years of industry experience working in some of the most premier neighborhoods in the Twin Cities.
As owner of ECB, Matt takes a hands-on ownership approach. He prides himself on quality and measures a hard days work by results. He approaches each project as if it were his own home.

Matt built my custom home on the lake. This home is my dream home, and retirement home. It was three years in the making taking pictures, pulling aside material samples, and pulling from magazines. Matt patiently worked with me to take the ideas and make them real. His expectation of high quality and attention to detail ensures that the final product is as close to perfect as possible. There were times when you could have thought that this was his house based on what he expected from the sub-contractors. AND, he looked for every way possible to reduce costs. I live in a home that I never thought possible thanks to Matt. He recently remodeled my mom's home .... a home she has lived in since before I was born. She was speechless and nearly in tears when she saw it. She never believed it could be so beautiful. Matt really took care of my family. Thank you!, Matt.

Matt completed a whole main floor and lower level remodel, home addition, exterior stucco removal replacing with shake siding, new outdoor living space and remodel of pool house. This project was a huge undertaking while my family occupied the house during the majority of the project. From the beginning Matt provided insight to functional design, space planning, strategy, and building materials. As a general contractor he himself worked on specific elements of the project that matched with his personal construction skills and then hired trained professional craftsman for other elements of the project. It was clear that this crew had worked together for years as tradesmen. I knew Matt had other clients/projects to contend with in addition to ours, that said, I was treated as if I was his only client. He was on site nearly every day, was responsive, his attention to detail is impeccable and financially he did what was in our best interest. If you ask Matt a question get ready for an honest educated answer. In the end, the project exceeded our expectations. We wholeheartedly endorse Matt, Owner of Elite Custom Builders.
