Edgar and his crew were hired for a scope of work that they said they new how to complete...no, they do not. We had to fire them after our unfinished job took 7 months instead of their promised 6 weeks. Terrible workmanship, they dont respect your propert;they left garbage and construction debris in yard and neighbors yard (who complained to us). Amateurs at construction. Rework, breakage, damage to surfaces. We spent today patching holes they left in walls. Do yourself a favor and contract with another firm.

DC2 LLC was a contractor I hired through Houzz.com. Because I trust that site, I was expecting a higher quality level of contractor and one that was vetted first. WRONG. If only I would've know before I hired them. I hired DC2 LLC to do a backyard renovation that included removing an old weathered firepit area and replacing it. A project manager came out to quote my project. And completely ignored my budget (the project ended up going 2K over budget). In addition, instead of receiving a CAD, I received a hand drawing of what my yard would look like in colored pencil. We passed around Pinterest boards, but didn't get a full scope of my project at any time. This is my first time hiring folks like this...I had no idea what to expect. When they told me they could finish the project in a week, I was like...you guys are nuts. And they were. I asked to work with a different project manager after the first one crossed the line, flirting and being inappropriate. Perhaps a sales ploy? I don't know. So the next project manager had catching up to do. There goes the first week. She was green and inexperienced. Better than getting hit on...but all she did was collect receipts and ask for checks. I worked best with my contractor, who was quick to respond to texts, on the ball, and very thorough and respectful. As were his workers. Materials were underestimated causing reorders and more time added to the project. I was at Lowes three separate times buying more stone for my walkway and doing it myself to hurry things along. This company is way too expensive for the work they do. They'll be available, but be ready for a stressful project that has a lot of ups and downs. I still have yet to know who the "boss" for DC2 LLC. They don't even have business cards or a website. Unprofessional. :(

Edgar and the team did a great job! Edgar was incredibly easy to get a hold of and kept us updated on the schedule! The crew was skilled and helpful.

I would not recommend this contractor. We had an insurance claim that we were working on to replace a shower and fix damaged areas on our ceiling. Edgar assured us that he was very experienced in dealing with insurance companies and it would not be a problem. He encouraged us to start the remodel process while we were waiting to hear from our insurance company because he was going to start getting busy. Against our better judgement we started the process. The shower tear down went very fast and we paid for 98% of the cost after that was done which was required in the contract. We didn't see him for a week after that. Edgar only showed up on time if he was working on getting the contract initiated or if he was collecting payment. We had to contact him on almost a daily basis to see if anyone was coming out to work. He was terrible about communicating when workers were going to arrive. We were told that the project would take 3 weeks but it wasn't even 50% complete at that time. Our insurance company reached out to him to help get the correct paperwork so that we could submit it to be reimbursed but he either did not want to do this or did not keep track of expenditures. We are talking about labor and materials costs. He also made it very clear to us when going over the contract that if we did not pay the remaining amount at the end of the project that he would place a lien on our house. This was done in a very threatening way by giving an example of what had been done to someone else that he had done work for. We should have recognized that this was a bad decision to get involved with him. He never did submit the correct paperwork to our insurance company and we are out more than $12,000. New information: 3 months after using the shower our linoleum is bubbling up all around the shower and we have a leak downstairs in the ceiling drywall.

DC2 is very meticulous with their work and keeps their clients informed at every step of the way. I would easily recommend them for all of your home improvement projects. They are prompt and reliable.

Excellent work. Professional. Responsive.Showed up on time. Cleaned up after themselves when job was done. Followed up after job complete to ensure I was pleased.
