A&D Home Repair and Remodeling

Torn between 1 star and 2. We hired A&D to remove and install new baseboard trim throughout our home, as well as a few minor floor and fence repairs. We were quoted $1440 for 3 days of trim labor and supplied trim material ourselves. On day 5, we were contacted to let us know the team’s quote was WAY off - $2700 was due that day, which was their discounted rate for the week, and they were less than 1/2 way done with the project. They quoted another $3000 to $4000 to finish the project, or told us they understood if we found someone else to finish the job. Now, we get to move into our new home this weekend that is missing trim in half of the house and is filthy. I’m disappointed because the work that was completed looked pretty good, hence the 2 stars, but that is some terrible quoting, business management and customer relations. I get that mistakes happen, but charging 5x what the original quote was is NEVER acceptable.

We used A & D for several small projects including replacement of a door frame, drywall repair, leak detection and sealing as well as hanging a couple ceiling fans. They were easy to schedule, on time, and did quality work. Prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend them!

A&D was highly recommended to me. I called and had them come out to do a few odds and ends to get a feel for their work. The next project they completed was a tear down and replacement of a wooden fence around my property, including staining. The staff is very responsible, professional and courteous. They were always on time, put in a full day's work, were conscience about making sure the fencing was aligned, fit snuggly together and secure to the posts and frames. The dark staining on the fencing was hand applied, not sprayed, which meant that there was more control of the color and that the boards were evenly saturated giving it a very deep rich tone. At the end of the day all materials and supplies were cleaned up and put way. They are also reasonably priced (half the cost of what one of the large box stores quoted me just for the installation) and stayed within my budget. I AM LOVING MY NEW FENCE!!!!! I am especially impressed by the fact that all of the staff are mature military veterans with a strong work ethic and a sense of pride in their product. In addition, I always had the same team on site each day of the project which helped to build a good working relationship. I now have them scheduled for two bathroom remodels this summer with additional work to follow.

Amazing job by A&D Home Repair and Remodeling! Daniel and his crew turned our bland storage room into an amazing home theater room. The work included adding wall columns, raised flooring, painting, carpeting, electrical, to mention a few. During our over 30 years of moving while in the military/government using many handyman services; this was our best experience ever! His crew was extremely professional. I would recommend A&D Home Repair and Remodeling to my family, friends and anyone looking for a professional-well priced team!

We are in the process of selling our home and chose A&D Home Repair and Remodeling based off of their great reviews. The owner, Daniel was professional and offered reasonable estimates. We had a few hiccups, as with any home project, but Daniel and his crew got the job done right and on time without any added cost to us. We highly recommend A&D to anyone wanting honest, experienced contractors.

We hired Daniel for multiple projects in our home after a recommendation from a neighbor. You name it, we have had it done or it is on the list. Drywall, re-configuring walls and doorways, flooring, creating new closet space, staircase re-design, fireplace re-design, replacing exterior doors and windows, paint and crown molding. Our next project will be a re-design of kitchen and bathroom. Daniel and his crew are courteous, professional, honest, friendly and know what they are doing. They clean up each day and are trustworthy. The sub-contractors he has brought in for some jobs (electrical and masonry) are just as professional and great as the rest of his crew. A&D Home Repair will be our "go-to" when anything needs to be updated or repaired.

We had hail damage that broke the outside pane of our double pane window. We waited for quiet some time for our local glass company to come out and give us a bid and the bid was way too high so we decided to replace that window along with two others. After that experience we went to order windows and were suggested to get a contractor first to measure and figure out what we needed to put in. Daniel and his team came out and did all the measurements for us and when the windows came in, he picked them up for us along with the other materials needed and installed them. They finished our project in a timely manner, these windows are installed so much better than the original windows ever were. They hauled off all the trash after, leaving the site clean. Their professionalism is outstanding and I would highly recommend and use A&D Home Repair and Remodeling so much to the point that we won't use anyone but them, especially on the windows!

We hired Daniel for several projects. The first was to install some much needed cabinetry throughout our home and second was locate a possible leak behind the wall. Both times, Daniel and his team were exceptional. They are incredible professionals, are knowledgeable in their work and do an excellent job on time! But just as important ... they met our budget and worked exceptionally well with us. Daniel and his team are genuinely good, professional, courteous and incredible at what they do. We plan on some doing some more projects and will certainly use Daniel again. I've already highly recommended him to my friends

I hired them to install some curtains in my house. He was upfront, honest, professional, and best of all: skilled. Price was very reasonable. Another plus is that the owner is a veteran like myself and all of his employees are Veterans as well. Definitely recommend.
