Aegis Construction is run by David Slack. David has over 30 years of experience in the construction business. David's career has encompassed everything from working in the trades, construction management on apartment projects, land development, building homes, design, drafting, remodeling, insurance restoration and light commercial construction. At Aegis Construction we believe in providing our customers with a positive experience. It is our goal to have every customer be willing to recommend us to a friend. That has how we gauge that we are doing a good job! We are a very diverse company that is large enough to serve your needs, but small enough to provide you with a one on one intereaction. We are able to encompass all aspects of construction. Whether your needs are large or small we are up to the task. New construction is our forte but we are just as happy to remodel, renovate and rebuild as well!

We had considerable remodeling work done by Aegis construction-walls removed, stairs replaced, kitchen, masterbath, and walk-in closet remodeled. The work was done efficiently, properly, and in a timely manner. In spite of pandemic obstructions such as delivery delays and cost increases out of Aegis' control, we are totally pleased with the job. David was always available for consultation and advice, totally honest and forthright, was quick to respond to our suggestions, and very pleasant to work with. We couldn't be happier with the work that was done for us. Give Aegis a call-you'll be glad you did.

We were moving in to our new home and had multiple room projects in mind. Dave presented a lot of options and ideas along with budgeting each room so we could decide where we could flex our budget. He was in constant communication for crew dates and times and answered texts and emails timely. Our office, bedroom, bathroom and garage improvements turned out beyond our expectations. We would recommend Aegis Construction to our family and friends for any general contracting needs.

I would highly recommend Aegis Construction for a new construction. From the first contact, David was always easy to get ahold of and had the answers we were looking for. After explaining our ideal floor plan and budget, David presented us with a nearly perfect blueprint then quickly worked to customize everything last detail just how we wanted. His experience in the latest building materials and practices made the big decisions easy. I was impressed throughout the entire construction on David's attention to detail and his readiness with solutions when even the smallest hiccups occurred. On top of that, the jobsite was kept unbelievably clean throughout the entire build. We have now been in our new home just over a year and have been extremely happy with everything. With zero problems to speak of, we are confident the best decision in building our custom home was choosing David and Aegis Construction.

Dave Slack and Aegis Construction are highly recommended. He's taken on small and large projects....from adding a bathroom to installing floor tile and trim boards. He presents good ideas and is able to put those ideas onto paper for our review and approval. His pricing is fair...I've never doubted the accuracy and competitiveness of his quotes. David Slack owns Aegis Construction and we were so fortunate to be referred to him. He is the most organized, insightful and user-friendly contractor in his profession. He helped us in every step of the way to plan and build a new home to meet our needs and wishes. The subcontractors he used were also very impressive in their skills and work ethic. Everyone in the neighborhood was impressed at how fast Dave and his team completed the construction. My husband and I highly recommend Dave and Aegis Construction to anyone who plans to build or remodel. We enjoyed working with him so much we will actually miss him!

As a (retired) design professional I can’t say enough about Aegis Construction. A kitchen remodel client used him for an extensive renovation & I was so impressed he was my first call when we had a tight deadline project. Our budget was small & Aegis was booked, but Dave fit us in, and treated our comparatively small project the same as a huge one. Great company, professional from start to on-time finish. No surprises, use of written change orders... The owner, David Slack, stays involved throughout, points out possible pitfalls (don’t delay ordering appliances since stock is all over the place because of COVID shipping delays), makes excellent suggestions but never steps on your toes. Dave is smart, provides scaled drawings, and thinks of things you might’ve missed. In our area this kind of contractor is rare.

David Slack, owner of Aegis Construction, is by far the most competent, professional contractor we've ever done business with. He completely renovated our basement that had sustained extensive water damage. The entire project was explained in detail after we had discussed our ideas, with David working directly with our insurance company, and giving his invaluable insight on all of our options. Everything was done on time, within budget, and exactly as promised. He is such a perfectionist. We couldn't be more pleased, and would highly recommend him to anyone considering a home improvement project.
