We hired Success Floors to replace the original parquet floor in our 1920s house, as the floor had been re-finished so many times over the history of the house it was pretty much paper thin, missing pieces and beyond repair. We also had them put new treads and rebuild the banister and post on our staircase. I had contacted several general contractors and flooring specific contractors before finding them. Mike was the most responsive, patient and eager to educate of all of the different contractors I spoke with. He made time to come meet with me the day I called him. During that meeting he carefully listened and checked out the scope of the project, and talked me through the various pros/cons of each decision for how we could go about the renovation. Furthermore, after that initial meeting he answered the phone pretty much whenever I called or texted with questions about other proposals and wondered about adding that to the scope of what he had suggested. His willingness to be a resource, even before we hired him, and his transparency on the proposal he offered is what ultimately led us to decide to work with them. Once the project began, the Success Floors were always on time and courteous, cleaned up at the end of each day to keep the house as livable as possible (we didn't move out). Their attention to detail was reassuring, We couldn't be happier with the work that they completed. We would absolutely hire Success Floors again for any other flooring or carpentry work that we need in the future! They are incredibly knowledgeable about their craft, and always willing and eager to educate.

Our floors were refinished by Success Floors. The job was completed quickly as promised. We came home to beautiful wood floors with no mess left behind. I did a lot of research before I hired Success Floors for my kitchen. We recently took down some walls and wanted to put in an island and open up the kitchen. The owner, Mike, was professional, always on time and went out of his way to match my "new" wood floors to the "old" wood floors that run through the rest of my house. Other floor companies told me it wasn't possible - our home was built in the 1960s and the skinny maple oak planks are no longer in production. But Mike called his contacts and found my matching wood in Boston. The result is a beautiful kitchen floor that now has an open concept that matches the rest of my first floor. Success Floors LLC did an outstanding job. His professionalism to every detail is portrayed in the work done. I obtained pricing from three contractors. Their pricing nor their knowledge I questioned. Success floors was honest, reasonable and most of all knowledgeable. He knew what he was talking about. My job due to subfloors and moisture content was higher than normal. Success Floors was the only contractor who pointed this out. Furthermore, he stopped by twice to measure the humidity in the subfloor. My work consisted of two floors several rooms which included living room, dining room, two dens and master bedroom. Success Floors had major preparation which was required due to carpets being ripped up and sub floors which were damaged. Due to the moisture content from subfloors, there was much needed preparation and work required to insure that the floors were installed correctly. Their expertise, knowledge, and attentiveness demonstrated to every detail is apparent when you look at my floors. My floors were high end imperial chestnut wide plank truly beautiful. In fact I had Success Floors back last week to transform my staircase changed from standard traditional to an elegant beautiful work of art showcase. My home was left spotless. It was a pleasure to work with them.

I am completely dissapointed by the outcome of my hardwood floors that were installed in my home less than 2 years ago by Mike and his workers. I had complaints from the beginning as the stain is not the same color throughout my first floor. It is clear that whatever machine they were using to stain did not stretch to the edges of the floor so it left two different colors. When I spoke to Mike about this he said there was nothing that could be done and that I would have two colors on my floors. The floors also are beginning to crack down the middle of the hardwood and have no finish on top so it is impossible to get them clean. The wood that was put in between the planks is beginning to come out and be really spaced apart. There are pieces of wood upstairs that are coming up so when you step on them your foot falls down. We spent a small fortune on these floors and I absolutely hate them. To make matters worse I've called Mike several times to try and fix the floors but apparently nothing can be done even though I've had other hardwood contractors say that was a terrible job. Mike did an incredible job replacing all the floors in our newly renovated condo. He worked diligently and efficiently, and took great care in his work. Out of all the subcontractors we have worked with in this reno, he was the only one who came when he said he would and finished the job timely. I wouldn’t hesitate for a minute to hire him again for any flooring needs in the future.

From the initial meeting with Mike to select the floors, I felt confident that he would do a great job. He had options and understood what I wanted and provided me guidance altho my choices were limited (I live in a condo with strict rules). Mike did a wonderful job on my floors and every night he left my place livable and clean. I would have no hesitation to recommend him because you will not be disappointed.

Our experience with Mike and Success Floors was exceptional. The refinished oak floors and new baseboards look spectacular from corner to corner.
