Tom Roebuck from Roebuck Concepts is a fantastic builder and his work on our house was second to none. Tom completely renovated our house which was a large 8 month build. This consisted of 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 kitchens and a custom designed pool which needed to be designed in a rather awkward spot! The first half of the renovation we were still living in Sydney and Tom’s communication with us couldn’t have been better. We felt totally comfortable with Tom project managing the entire build. Tom also introduced us to an app that he uploaded photo’s, daily progress and any other information that he thought we needed. This was brilliant as we felt part of the project at all times. Tom is awesome at thinking outside the box which was really important us. No problem was too big and Tom always took time to find a solution which we were all happy with. We loved his design ideas and were lucky enough to have Tom fabricate custom made pieces of furniture, all made from recycled materials. We have been very fortunate in securing the expertise of Tom Roebuck both as a builder and project manager. Our project was huge, requiring a complete renovation of a very large home that was originally built 50 years ago. Therefore, we knew that the master builder and manager for our project had to possess the following professional qualities: exceptional expertise as a builder; leader of an expert support team of draftsman, carpenters/builders, electrician, plumber, painter and earthworks/machinery operators; building suppliers that would ensure efficient delivery of materials in accord with the client's request; account management that would ensure timely invoicing in accord with contractual agreements; and a client service mindset that was understanding of the overall project, the client, the client's needs, and the client's requests during the building process. As we were first-time renovators we also needed a builder who could envision the project as a whole and also as phased stages in order to provide guidance and advice to us during the decision-making process that occurs during a lengthy project. We also needed a project manager with exceptional personal characteristics including being: an efficient problem-solver who wasn't phased by unexpected circumstances or unanticipated complexities; and most of all a business-like personality balanced by warmth, humour and excellent interpersonal skills. Tom Roebuck encountered a myriad of unexpected, external challenges during our building project and throughout the whole building process he went to extraordinary lengths to ensure that every aspect of his work was exemplary. Tom fulfilled each of our criteria to an excellent degree. I would highly recommend Tom Roebuck to any client fortunate enough to secure his services.

In 2018 we purchased a home in Doonan, while it had some amazing features [ i.e. the view ] it also had some inherently bad design features that we simply could not live with. We commenced work soon after we moved in and the major renovation lasted 7 months. We engaged Tom Roebuck from Roebuck concepts on a ' Cost Plus ' basis as it would have been difficult to estimate a contract based on the type of work we needed to do. Roebuck Concepts managed the renovation for 5 of the 7 months with myself working alongside every day helping where I could. We had some weather issues however overall my Wife & I were very pleased with the effort & craftsmanship that went into our project. Tom is a pleasant guy to deal with as were his team. While Tom is fairly young he is more of an ' old school ' tradesman, which I appreciate. I can fully recommend Roebuck Concepts, especially for bespoke type renovations where one must be prepared to proceed with a more flexible ' take it as you go ' attitude. We first used Tom when he arrived on the coast from W.A. about 3 years ago to design and install several timber privacy screens both on our home and also on our adjoining investment property at Coolum Beach. We found the quality of work to a very high standard, so much so that we also asked him to do a large reno on another property on Bribie Island, and some more work for us in Coolum Beach. We have always been appreciative of Tom's willingness to explain everything with straight talk and the high level of good, positive communication is also a rewarding factor. Very easy to deal with on all levels with a professionalism second to none.

Awesome job Tom Roebuck, Bespoke Builder from Roebuck Concepts on the renovation of our Golden Beach 3 Bedroom Unit. Having just completed two renovations on other properties ourselves, placing the project in the hands of Tom was the best decision ever. Throughout the course of the renovation Tom was a skilled professional. With his design background he was able to provide us with clever and unique options on how to increase storage, air flow and give our unit the wow factor. Tom was genuinely excited to be working on this project and delivered an outstanding new home for us. From demolition to his selection of quality contractors and management of those contractors, saw the job completed in a short time frame. Fantastic communication skills, using an application for all stakeholders, so we knew where the project was at on a daily basis. Receiving daily updates and photos was great as we lived more than an hour away. His management extended to liaising with Body Corporate and neighbours to ensure everyone around us was happy during the build and ensured the site and common areas were left clean. Tom has years of experience from new builds to renovations. Without hesitation we recommend Tom and his team. It was a pleasure working with Roebuck Concepts.
