Immerspa Inground Pools

We have had two concrete pools and spas over the years in previous homes with little problems. We found Immerspa on the internet and were intrigued by their idea of using the same material for the spa as used in the marine business for boats...made sense to us, so we tried it at a fraction of the cost of concrete. We are very impressed with the product from a quality standpoint and are very impressed with the customer support. In an age of endless voice recordings, long holds and irritable customer service reps, it is so refreshing to deal with a company that answers the phone and will call you back! Claire has been so kind and responsive! If you are in the market for a spa, you should consider Immerspa.

Claire from the Immerspa team was amazing - so helpful, friendly and proactive. Clarie helped turn a bit of a mess (not of Immerspa's doing) into a good experience. Claire even recommended a wonderful team in my area who was able to help me out of a bind. The spa looks great and I appreciate not only Claire's ongoing support, but the recommendation of people who were able to help me - when the original landscaper dropped the ball.

I purchased the spa, "Renewal", back in late 2021 and just completed installation at my home in Colorado. My experience with Immerspa couldn't have been better. As a do-it-yourselfer, I needed a company that I could count on for questions, tips, and advice during the entire process. And this is exactly what I received. The entire staff guided me from planning to completion. Claire, in particular, was always available for me as she was responsive in answering my questions. My spa is beautiful! I would highly recommend Immerspa!

I managed an ImmerSpa install for some friends. I've got a background in commercial electrical work and also understand plumbing and GC work so it was a good fit. I don't recall the model spa but I think it was the Exhale. The components are very high-quality and the end result was a very nice in-ground spa that has the feel of a mini-pool. All the pumps and equipment are either Hayward or other pool-quality components, and overall I was pretty impressed (having not done one of these before). But, I wouldn't say it was "easy", as stated on the ImmerSpa website. You'll get a lot of manuals. Problem is, these are separate, modular components and you'll have to put your thinking cap on to figure out how they integrate. It's also tricky with subcontractors because--for example--a plumber might be willing to connect a pipe to a pump, but he's probably not going to offer engineering services on how to configure your supply and return lines. "You need a pool guy!" says the plumber, "You need a plumber!" says a pool guy. Be prepared to make some command decisions. I was also disappointed that for a "turnkey" system they did not include a low voltage transformer, which was absolutely needed for the supplied light. I managed to fry a very expensive LED light only to find out we needed a transformer. I called ImmerSpa and the response I got was kind of like, "Oh yeah, use a transformer. Any 14V AC transformer will work" as if I just have cases of them lying around. The whole idea is that it's turnkey. So, an $80 transformer and a $200 light later, we were back in business. This is a super cool concept with great potential. ImmerSpa will ship you quality components and as long as you can orchestrate your project with competent subs (or you are a super skilled plumber/electrician/general contractor yourself) you'll probably love the end result. Just keep in mind what you are getting are a lot of modular pieces, and getting them to all play nicely together is not as easy as a couple of pipes and a couple of wire nuts.

Our experience with Immerspa was one of the worst experiences we have ever had. The purchase was simple however the customer service was painful and non existent. Once we wired the money to Shawn, the customer support disappeared. We had to arrange to pick up the spa ourselves because Shawn wouldn't respond to our calls and we couldn't let our tradespeople wait any longer. Shawn still charged us HIS delivery fee on top of the price of spa. Shawn is the most unprofessional business person we have ever worked with. The experience was very frustrating and grueling. We asked for instructions and manuals at least 10 times, with no response! Finally, weeks later, Shawn sent photos of another clients project and expected us to figure out the maze of pipes and connections on our own. We would NEVER recommend Immerspa and Shawn to anyone. It looks beautiful and we love our spa, but the pain associated with the experience is something that sticks with us. Do not use this company for any of your projects.

I completely agree with all of the other reviews that noted areas of improvement for immerspa with respect to their customer service, warrantee, product description, transparency, and overall ease to work with. Communication AFTER I placed the order was horrific. Shawn gave the clear impression that he was going to come to our home to assist with the installation (we do not live in the GTA) and then when it came down to the delivery date we were told that we would have to pay per km for him to travel. You know when you can tell...well, I could tell. Instalation instructions were sent to us after deliver date and he even threatened to cancel the order because I was going to hold back the deposit until we receivedthe instructions. We still have no instructions on maintenance...to get the spa specs for my electrician was delayed, to get information on the particulars of the pumping system was guesstimated and in the end the box the pumps came in broke upon delivery. It was all just very painful. Everytime someone comes to our yard they compliment us on the style and design of our space, I have yet to recommend immerspa to a friend or family member. Warrantee issue with respect to severe discolouration has also been ignored.

This was the worse experience we have ever had with a trade. From the very beginning working on the design to installation which was abysmal. Follow up was required to fix an exploding pump line followed by a leaking underground line - we fixed it ourselves never wanting to deal with owner again. Now the issue is finding a replacement cover which has had to be custom made 3 times. While we really like the spa we now need to pull down the waterfall, add coping stones and rebuild the waterfall so we can get a cover to fit. All at additional expense. Never ever recommend this company to anyone.

We moved into a new to us home in OCT 2020. we had looked at properties with a pool and without but if it did not have one we wanted a property that we could put in a pool/spa Friends of ours had used Immerspa for their In-Ground spa. We have always loved the size and convenience of their spa after having a traditional kidney shaped pool for 11years at our old house and decided we would look at an Inground spa vs a pool. After dozens of hours online searching and comparison of Fiberglass pools and Spas, Immerspa's solution was still the best solution for us. We went back and forth on model selection, layout in the yard and what options would be included. Immerspa came up with a great option for us in Late NOV-2020 and we had the spa in the ground running and enjoying it by DEC 3rd. The team worked exceptionally hard to accommodate my requests and timeline. We now have an amazing product from a great team who worked tirelessly to get the project in the ground and complete in a couple of days. If you are looking for a great solution in the ground but don't want a monster pool and you want to be able to use the spa year-round, please give the team at Immerspa a call. I have recommended Immerspa to my friends and will continue to do so

We installed a beautiful "Bliss" Immerspa a couple of months ago and cant say enough on how impressed we are with it! Love the fact that it looks like a pool in the ground. Great quality and would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great year round spa!

The product concept is ideal for all season enjoyment. However, there are many issues with the current set up, delivery and customer service provided. 1. Installation directions were not comprehensive and after speaking to multiple seasoned Pool and Hot Tub companies the recommended installation methods given by ImmerSpa were incorrect which can lead to many future issues with the spa. 2. An owners manual was not provided for upkeep of the spa or even product information in regards to maintaining the spa & the water. 3. Set up of pumps & spa kits are NOT a DIY project. The system is more complicated than the owner suggests. 4. Any cost information in regards to running the system during each season is dramatically different than the actual cost. 5. Owner admitted that he doesn’t own one of these products. 6. Customer service is non existent. Multiple calls and messages go unanswered and ignored for weeks. 7. Required equipment for set up was missing on a number of pumps and heaters. Again, no detailed written instructions were provided by ImmerSpa in regards to best practices for set up. (Imagine putting together a dresser from Ikea without the instruction manual, how frustrated would you be?) this is 1000% worse. 8. Spa cover is very heavy, 2 people are required to move it. Quality is poor. 9. The quote was not comprehensive. Additional products are required after the fact which then substantially increases the cost of the end product. An all in quote from the very beginning would have mitigated the confusion, frustration and disappointment. Overall my experience was not positive. It’s unfortunate that this is the only company in Ontario who sells in-ground All season spas.
