The Chimney Chap has been in business since 1980, originated in Duxbury, and now sweeping through the entire South Shore Area. We are a family run business passed on through generations of chimney sweeps. We take pride in our business and our customers because they take pride in us. Very nice group of folks to work with, the chimney was overdue for a cleaning. Called and was able to get an appointment in a reasonable amount of time, they arrived early for the appointment. After they were done you would not know that they had been in the house other than the MUCH improved fireplace. Walked us through all of the maintenance needed for a good fireplace season.

We are a 16 unit condominium association and have required that all units annually be inspected and those who use their fireplaces be swept. Chimney Chap has serviced our units for two years now They are professional, respectful, and responsible. This family run business is a gem in the non personal world of today. With rising costs, it is our only hope that we will be able to maintain our relationship and dependability of their great job well done and continue to have them me our annual service provider. For the record we have had no complaints what so ever and this is usual in a condo association of owners who are challenging to satisfy.!

I have used Chimney Chap on three occasions over the past 4 or 5 years. They have installed two chimney caps and repaired the fire box in one of my fireplace. They are very professional and do quality work.

We needed the cap of our chimney replaced due to the concrete cap cracking. We also had so brick on the outside of the chimney deteriorating. The cap was replaced with one that did not allow bats, birds or other animals to enter the chimney. They also repaired the bad bricks on the outside of the chimney. All the repairs we done to my satisfaction and I was pleased at the look of the cap and repairs. It is nice to have an appointment time and the company rep shows up on time, gives a day and time for repairs and they show up when they say they will.

They came and measured then came and installed had all tools to complete the job and clean up behind themselves.

I bought a home that ended up needing quite a bit of work on the chimney. I reached out to The chimney chap and they did a though assessment of what work was needed and walked me through the whole process. I am very happy with the quality and professional level of service from The Chimney Chap.

This company showed up on time and delivered more than expected. Quality of workmanship was outstanding. They showed me what was wrong with my chimney and showed me how they were going to fix it. I have not had any problems going forward with my chimney since! I highly recommend these guys!
