Curtis Chimney & Hearth

Centrally located in Grantsville, Maryland, Curtis Chimney Service was started in 1984 by Dale Curtis as a chimney cleaning company. It took very little time to realize that many of our customers had needs that went beyond routine service. Over the years, we have grown into a full-service company offering everything from cleaning to major flue restoration and construction, and sales and installation of wood, coal and gas heaters. Eventually, we came to realize that the name, “Curtis Chimney Service” just didn’t quite capture the full range of what we offer, so we tweaked the name a little bit and became Curtis Chimney & Hearth. Whether we’re rebuilding a chimney top, installing a fireplace, restoring a damaged chimney, or simply cleaning a flue, our constant goal is to provide the very best products and services available in our field with professional and friendly customer service. In order to ensure a high level of expert service we are associated with the National Fireplace Institute, a hearth education, and certification organization. Normal showroom hours are 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday – Friday. Saturdays are by appointment, so you'll need to call ahead if you plan to stop by on a Saturday.
