Avant-Garde Development

I bought a house in July of 2018. The basement had a small room in it, the house was 4 bedroom 3 bath. My goal was to make a comfortable living space for people that wanted to rent but not just some college students. Bryce was referred to me from a friend who he had done some amazing work for. Bryce came up with the design, timeline, expenses and helped coordinate other people who I had brought on the job that he didn't know. I left for a 2 week vacation right after I started the project. I left him in charge of taking care of the house and coordinating efforts with plumbing and electrical. He knew way more than anyone on the job. Not only did he see through the job but hit it on time, on spec and on budget! He saved me money and as I am not a person that is comfortable with doing work on a house, he made me feel really comfortable as I just thought having my wall taken down and floor ripped up was never going to get done in time. He is very detail oriented but didn't make me feel a lot of pressure about it, actually he didn't pressure me into anything only helped guide. He kept a clean work place, talked out concepts and helped my simple idea turn into a high return investment into my home. We doubled the size of the small room and turned it into a master bedroom with an attached full bath. This changed the house into a 4 bed and 4 bath with 2 master bedrooms. I wish I had the photos of before and after but he did an amazing job.

I hired Avant Garde to help me finish my kitchen. Bryce was very professional and knowledgeable with everything he did. He provided me with different options until we found one we loved. The kitchen is completely custom and looks amazing. I get compliments with everyone that comes into my house. Couldn’t be happier.

Bryce and Landen have been finishing my basement. It has been a great experience working with them. They have provided great input about options and ideas to make the space better than I could have imagined. I am extremely impressed with how clean and organized they keep the job site and with the respect they take with my home. The space is looking amazing and I’m so excited to see the finished product. Bryce was incredible to work with. He built me some custom furniture and took my vision to the next level. He was quick to jump on Pinterest to understand my vision and then put his own creative spin on it. As a person who works full time at home I am beyond happy to LOVE the space I work in for 40+ hours a week.
