The Tile Studio, Inc. is a member of the National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) as a State Ambassador of Pennsylvania. CERTIFIED TILE INSTALLERS (CTI) WHY SHOULD YOU CARE? The Ceramic Tile Education Foundation (CTEF) provides education and installer certification for professionals working in the ceramic tile and stone industry. The CTEF Certified Tile Installer (CTI) program is the only third-party assessment of installer skill and knowledge which is recognized as "the standard" in the tile industry. My GC originally hired Tile Studio for a rebuild of our kitchen after a flood. I chose a large travertine and was initially happy with the floor. A year later I started seeing cracking in the tiles and grout. I called, no response. I continued to call for over a year, and finally, they responded. They came out and looked and said they would repair tile and grout under warranty. They fixed the tile, but not the grout. The grout they did put in around the new tiles was a much lighter color, but they assured me that it was only because it was new, and it would age to the proper color. I later found out they had based the replacement grout on the receptionist remembering that I had wanted a floor from the studio display. While I had chosen the tile from the display, I had not chosen the same grout, as it was far too light for a kitchen floor. A couple of years later, grout still cracked, more tiles cracked. I had them come out again, and they said they would replace them and fix the grout. There was no mention of a charge, more was an estimate given, oral or written. They came out and Frank repaired the tiles. He was careful and talented, and the only reason I would give any stars. He had me help choose the grout, and the new grout around the new tiles is almost perfect. Then came the bill. I was told that since the cracking was due to joist movement, it wasn't their problem, so they had to charge me. $2600. For about 12 tiles. I understand if there is a problem and a company needs to charge for repairs. But, the proper procedure is to give an estimate. If I had been given an estimate, I would have fully understood that I was not under any warranty. I would have then been free to hire someone else for the repairs. TL/DR: Shoddy work + over a year of waiting for a reply + wrong color grout + bill when none discussed + no communication = unhappy customer And, the grout is still the wrong color.

Salf maintenance

Tile Studio installed 12 inch X 48 inch wood look ceramic tile and electric radiant heat system in our 400 sq ft living room. The installation took 3 days. This company was excellent to work with from start to finish. The office was great with responding via email and phone calls. They provided a well written work estimate and were very professional and responsive to all our questions. Additionally, they expertly guided us through the process and accommodated us with any changes that we requested before the work was started. The installers were great. Their work was nearly flawless and they were on time and very neat during the installation. I will be hiring and highly recommending them for all tile projects in the future.

We are remodeling my daughters bathroom. We went to The Tile Studio to pick out floor and shower tile. Morgan and Kim we’re extremely helpful, professional and patient. It took four or five trips to the studio and taking home several samples before we decided on one. Kim and Morgan were very helpful each time. I would use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone needing tile.

After looking at several tile companies for matte white 12" tile for a master shower renovation with matching 2" tile mounted on mesh for the floor and bull-nose for the edges, I found what I was looking for at The Tile Studio near Doylestown. The service and information I received was professional, accurate and friendly. Morgan was very helpful with information regarding the tile, when it would be in, etc. I appreciated that I was able to check out samples to match with other materials for the renovation. The tile I chose was also quite reasonable in price compared to a few other products I looked at. After receiving the order, The Tile Studio was able to keep the tile in their warehouse until the day before the contractor needed it, then they delivered it. (Note that I live very close to their shop. This is probably not always included.) I really appreciate the service I received and am very happy with the tile and how it looks in the shower.

Rich K

I was quoted and hired them to repair cracked grout in a sunroom tile floor. The repairman replaced the broken gray colored grout with stark white grout leaving a mismatched floor. To repair, I will need to have the entire floor ripped up to remove the grout. I contacted the owner numerous times and was completely ignored. No way to run a business.
