Stoneworks of Augusta

A friend took me to Stoneworks when I was trying to decide about countertops. She had purchased the granite for her kitchen remodel from them and wanted me to consider them. I was pleasantly surprised to find the owner had done cabinet work for me at least a dozen years earlier, which we were very happy with. I showed him the color of my paint for the cabinets and he quickly showed me 3 good choices of granite. Any would have been beautiful, but the one I preferred also happened to be the cheapest! Very nice coincidence! When it came time to install the counters, the owner himself did the measuring to make sure everything was just right, using state-of-the-art laser measurements. They tried to minimize the time that my kitchen was out of commission. They had a little trouble with the supplier for this particular granite (that no one else in town seemed to be able to get) but went the extra mile to persuade their out of state supplier to get it here. The installation went very smoothly. I love my undermount sink. I love having a piece of God's creation in the kitchen. All in all, I was very happy with the price, the workmanship, and the service I got from Stoneworks of Augusta.
