Since 1992 North Prairie Tileworks has created handmade tile with an emphasis on Arts & Crafts and Craftsman styles, while also producing beautiful modern styles for clients who appreciate a handmade look and feel. We work with designers, architects and homeowners to personalize homes with custom tile and functional art for bathrooms, kitchens, fireplaces and floors. Unique features include custom field tile sizes at no extra charge, allowing a bespoke fit for the client's available space and few, if any, field cuts needed during installation. Custom-sizing allows the client to achieve a refined & deliberate look and also allows glazed edges to be maintained by minimizing cuts during installation.

Our restoration services have replicated tile for noteworthy institutions including the Minnesota and Kansas State Capitals, Harvard University, the Hoover Dam visitor center, the American Swedish Institute, and New Jersey's DOT for the recent reconstruction of its 1932 Highlands-Seabright bridge.

Just great!! We thoroughly enjoyed working with North Prairie Tileworks in every regard. They are creative, professional, and did things in a timely manner if you consider that everything is done by hand. I know some people on here have had an issue with the timeline, but you have to realize that everything is made individually and to order. We are thrilled with the outcome! Can’t recommend them highly enough!

Comentado: What is the name and pattern of this wall tile?And to answer your question in better detail: this is a 3x6 subway tile in our #190 blue, including an accent band in our 3x6 Chinese Lattice relief tile.

Comentado: TilesThe dark glaze on the tiles framing the hearth and at the top of the insert is our #508 Stock Grey and the blue tiles are variations of our #321 Light Cadet.
