We only needed a countertop for our kitchen, not cabinets, and Tina at Motor City Granite was extremely helpful, showing us a variety of options and sharing some basic design concepts, which were useful. She also explained the ordering process clearly and without any pressure to buy. She was impressively prompt with cost estimates for various options We found a piece of soapstone at one of the stone suppliers they work with (a fairly easy process and kind of fun!) and we also appreciated the assistance we received at their stone supplier. The ordering process was straightforward, the timeline for installation was clearly laid out, and the installation team did a great job. All along, everyone we worked with on the team at Motor City Granite was friendly, careful, and professional. I love our countertops--they're even prettier than I'd imagined, and gloriously functional. Recommend.

We absolutely “LOVE” our new counters! Tina Wright worked well with us and explained everything quickly between appointments during Covid restrictions. We saw and picked granite on a Saturday morning, then had the measurements done by Frank who was a font of knowledge and information! Then the most beautiful countertops arrived with two of the nicest young guys who also knew their stuff! The counters went into place perfectly! No house project is inexpensive and many times you “hope” the end product will be great and worth the price. No need to hope with Motor City Granite & Cabinets or worry that you overpaid. Don’t look any further for your project!

Cannot recommend this company higher. Installation crew was awesome and professional. Sales team was very knowledgeable and outgoing. If you need granite or quartz in Oakland County this is who you should call first.

It was an exceptional experience dealing with Motor City Granite. From the first meeting with our sales consultant to the final stage of plumber reconnecting our water lines. My wife was indecisive about what color and grain she wanted in quartz, but Joan was very helpful in helping chose and take different samples home to my our decision the correct one. The measuring person was very professional and personable and precise. The installers were great, professional and outgoing and helped reassure us we made an excellent choice. The plumber was a joy to have him reinstall our water lines. He made it look easy which would have taken me all day and plenty of trips to the hardware store. I highly recommend you have the plumber reconnect all the water lines. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone interested in getting countertops done.

We recently had Motor City Granite install granite in 3 bathrooms. We’re very pleased with their work! Reasonable prices, excellent communication regarding scheduling, quick and thorough responses to our questions, and a great finished product in all 3 bathrooms! We had one minor follow-up issue which was immediately resolved (within the week) to our complete satisfaction. First class company …... happy to recommend them!

I was recommended to Motor City Granite & Cabinets from a tile manufacturer that I trusted. When they had given me the recommendation I had sat down with 3 different contractors and spoken to both Home Depot and Lowes. At the time of the in person visit to the home they were the first people that I felt comfortable with. Shannon and Scott talked through everything I had needed and they were even the ones that would take a peak into my walls to see if what I wanted could happen when all others just wanted me to order. The process was smooth. Scott & Bruce were great to have in the house. There were a few things that I wish could have gone a bit differently in terms of some timing and communication but they were so minor in the grand scheme of the entire project. I can't wait to use them again for my future needs. If you are looking for someone to do a great job and be someone you want in your home, Motor City is the place to go.
