Disappointed with the individual that completed the layout and template for not pointing out where additional 'shimming' should have been done by us before day of install and being told they would have to come back after charging us another $300-400. Then, not a single follow-up call from salesman or anyone after completion of the work. I imagine they knew what they may hear. With the multitude of options in the area, I'd suggest shopping around.

Would you want this in your own kitchen? That is the question I asked of the representative from Absolute that visited our home to investigate the issue with the kitchen countertop. There was no answer provided to the question, but instead I was told that I was ‘fixated’ by this. This is a direct quote from Absolute’s website: “We know that once a kitchen countertop is completed, it will be something used on a daily basis. We approach every project knowing this and believe our success is backed by our customers’ complete satisfaction.” In this case, this customer is not completely satisfied. Yes, we will use the kitchen on a daily basis. When I mentioned this flaw in the corner seam would be looked at daily, I was told I was ‘fixated’ by this and that I was overlooking the bigger picture. This is unsatisfactory. In earlier communications, the company representative said “We avoid surface polishing in the field…” In this case it was not avoided and now we are left with the damage that has been done. I asked if anything could be done to resolve this and was told no. I emailed info@absolutegranitestl.com to request policy information from the company regarding the customers’ complete satisfaction statement posted on the company website. At this point I have not received any acknowledgement of my request. I ask the owners the same thing I asked their representative; would you want this in your own kitchen?

Mike and the rest of the folks at Absolute made shopping for granite for our kitchen remodel an absolute breeze! Mike went well out of his way to help us find and procure the exact slabs we wanted for our countertops, the templating process was a breeze, the cutters did a perfect job, and the installers were fantastic. We will happily send our family and friends to Mike at Absolute!

Top notch quality with the customer service to back it up!!! I’ve used Absolute on multiple projects for my landscaping company specifically with outdoor kitchen counter tops. Every time Sander’s crew comes out to measure they are extremely friendly, professional, and get the job done right! They don’t rush, ask questions if they need to, and when our counter tops arrive to be installed they are ALWAYS spot on. Just a fabulous company that takes pride in their work. Can't say enough about this company! Wonderful service from Lisa who gave us an estimate that didn't change after the template to Mica & Jason who did the installation a week earlier than we were promised. Absolutely beautiful countertops and 40% less than the exact same thing at Lowe's & Home Depot.

They have a good selection of Granite. The prices are a bit high but reasonable. The sales staff is nice. We ended up buying granite for our kitchen. Unfortunately, when the guy came to make the templates he was not clear that some of the wall cabinets should be removed so the countertops could be installed. Keep in mind the cabinets were installed by the cabinet makers who were also never told by Absolute that having them installed might be an issue. So after two weeks of waiting for countertops, the installers show up and say that they cannot install one of the countertops and that the cabinets need removing. Then the lying started, the installers indicated they could come back whenever we got the cabinets taken down, oh but they did not mention the additional installation cost. Oh and the guy who came to make the templates insisted he told my wife that "those cabinets need to be taken down." So when my cabinet installer was able to coordinate a day where he could come in the morning to take down the cabinets and wait for Absolute to install the countertop so he could then reinstall the cabinets, Absolute's installers were 45 minutes late. Then they were in no hurry to get it done as it was their only installation for the day. So they made everyone sit on their hands while they took nearly 2 hours to install one countertop! I would not recommend this company for your countertop needs.

Absolute measured,cut,and installed our new soapstone counter. We were very happy with their work and their customer service. Workers were on time and very friendly. The customer service from the office side was very satisfactory after being let down this year from other service companies. Happy we went with Absolute.

From our first step into the Absolute showroom to the last day of installation, we were treated with professionalism and integrity by every member of the Absolute staff. Mike Metzger helped us in each step of our project resulting in an excellent experience and beautiful kitchen counters. We could not be more pleased or recommend Absolute any more highly.

Every part of the process went as promised with ZERO issues. The Absolute showroom and granite selections are fantastic. We chose a stunning variety of granite, then set us up for templating and a scheduled install. They hit every deadline date. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of detail with the templating and in the end the granite went in perfectly. We love our new kitchen! I cannot say enough good things about Absolute Tile and Stone. I hired them to install granite countertops in our newly renovated kitchen. I got two other bids before I hired them. Absolute Tile and Stone had the best price and a great selection to choose from. I was very overwhelmed in the beginning because there are so many choices, but they made it easier and gave me some good advise to make my granite choice a fun process. Every employee was very friendly and very helpful (and I mean "every" employee). I talked to several of the workers and they love working for AT&S. Happy workers create a better product. They have so much pride in their work it really shows. They also really care about the customer. We had a slight problem installing our faucet because of the cabinets we had installed. I called AT&S to just get some advice, but they sent someone out within 30 minutes to fix the situation for us. The whole process was so easy and painless, that I just wish I could hire them for the rest of my home renovations. All other contractors should take a lesson from Absolute Tile and Stone. I couldn't be happier and wish them much continued success in the future.

Absolute Tile was wonderful! I was remodeling my kitchen and needed granite counter tops. They took me to numerous warehouses to look at granite and their pricing was lower than other companies. They were able to coordinate their installation schedule with the cabinet makers so the kitchen was done in two days. I was so impressed with them that I had them back to cut and install new counter tops in both our bathrooms.
