Yvette Neumann is a Pacific Northwest visual artist, whose work includes original abstract and contemporary paintings, prints, cards, sculptural elements and other artfully rendered things. She draws from existing designs and structures in the world to extract their essential elements, letting shapes accompanied by color tell a unique story. Using color as a means to establish an emotional relationship with the viewer, she leans towards fuller hues as a signature in her work, and loves that color allows expression of different cultural values, the culmination of different experiences around the world that, while different, connect people from all walks of life to common truths. Her work encompasses both small and very large compositions and is exhibited regularly at fine art galleries, museums, art centers, and select other venues throughout the region.
