We hired SG Decorative Painting to finish the walls in our foyer and living room in Venetian Plaster and to refinish six columns that line the entry hall of our home in Aiken. Stacey was very responsive from the start and explained all the different techniques that helped us chose the right finish and color. Stacey understood exactly what we wanted and she did a wonderful job. It was not easy as we have very high ceilings and the work is all done by hand and can only be done by one person to achieve a consistent look. We could not be happier with the work and we recommend Stacey without any hesitation.

I hired Stacey for Faux painting and she said she could install a tile back splash in my kitchen. Boy was she wrong, she did a terrible job. Tiles along the bottom were cut all crooked and look like they are falling off the wall. She covered screw holes so we could not reinstall switch plates. She was sloppy and very unprofessional. She insisted on cash for final payment on the final day(she new she did a horrible job and we would have no recourse). She left the area behind our stove unfinished and there are tiles missing. She charged me so much extra for a mural that was so simple, I could have done it. I am so upset that she was so unresponsive and kept saying it would look better once grouted(false). I have to hire a tile repairman to fix some of it and it is going to cost hundreds of dollars(can't afford to fix everything).Save yourself from great disappointment and do not hire her, especially for tile work!!

Stacey guggenheim has been working with us for ten years. Each and every time she has exerted her magic touch and transformed the spaces she has painted into works of art. As owners of multiple properties we have worked with many speciality painting contractors over the years and no one even comes close to Ms. guggenheim. She has after renovations decorated our entire house with paint that imparts the appearance one would observe in architecture digest. Her manner and bearing are seamless and she always delivers on time and on budget.. The above applies whether she is working solo or with multiple contractors at the same time. By the time SG Decorative painting is finished, the space is transformed and you would never even know she was here. It has been a professional joy to work with SG Decorative Painting. I call particular attention to our red venetian plaster wall that looks like a work of art that resembles our 6 foot painting that hangs on the same wall. Marie Greenberg

Stacey did a beautiful job on a mural she did for us in my children's playroom. She really listened to my ideas and created exactly what I wanted better than I could have imagined it. She also incorporated the colors of the playroom into the mural so it really fits in, something I didn't ask her to do but appreciate now. I have since recommended her to friends who have been happy as well.

Stacey Guggenheim of SG Decorative painting and murals is a talented artist, and responsive businesswoman as well. She transformed a dull and dark original slate mantelpiece in the living room of my 1882 historic Haddonfield home, into a show-stopping focal point. She worked quickly, and cleanly, and responded to the evolving product we designed together. Using Benjamin Moore paints, and the color scheme I required, Stacey created in three days, a stunningly authentic-looking marble mantel.

I hired Stacey to faux paint my grandfather's secretary desk black. Stacey did an amazing job. After she finished painting the secretary she used gold paint to make it look a bit distressed and then stenciled the inside to match my dining room chairs. It came out beautiful. Stacey is extremely professional. She finished my project in less than two days. I was very happy with the finished project and I would definitely use her again for future projects.

I commissioned Stacey Guggenheim of SG Decorative Painting to do a large mural for my living room. We met, we looked at some pictures I brought and she sent me some reference pictures to ensure we were on the same page. After 3 weeks, she called to say my mural was finished. It is exactly what I wanted! Stacey hit the nail right on the head with every last detail of what I wanted. - WE LOVE IT, it far exceeded anything we could have hoped for. It will be a conversation piece and focal point for years to come. We had gotten several quotes from other artists, and prices we were given were astronomical. Stacey's price was very reasonable.

Fantastic artist! Stacey (owner/artist) is a true professional whose attention to detail helps to create unique and beautiful works of art on your walls, fireplace surround, or any other surface you want to "spruce up". Stacey created venetian walls in my master bath as well as antiqued my fireplace surround. Reviews of her work from friends and family were "stunning", "amazing transformation", "works of art"! From me, the experience was seamless, smooth, fun, and cost effective. I would highly recommend SG Decorative Painting for any creative painting and home artistry.

Stacey is an utter professional! She painted my kitchen cabinets in a glazed distressed style and they came out beautifully! Everyone complements them. I don't think she does cabinets anymore, as they are so labor intensive, but I would recommend her for any of your painting needs. She works hard & completes the job when she promises she will. She is really an artist. She painted a beautiful mural in my sister's backyard, replicating a photo of a sunset in Cabo San Lucas, that came out perfectly. I was so amazed at how good it came out, because she painted it on a rough surface of get garage wall. She also did some faux painting inside my sister's house that came out beautifully.

We hired Stacey from SG Decorative Painting to paint our stone fireplace. She did a fantastic job and we are really happy with the end result. Not only is she talented but she is incredibly easy to work with, knowledgeable, efficient. She was able to work around our schedule and her price was very reasonable. We will be using her again in the future.

Excellent work. People can not believe my kitchen cabinets were painted, they walk up to them and touch them in complete disbelief. They also painted my 1st floor in a faux venetian which looks fabulous. Punctual & respectful, I highly recommend SG Decorative Painting & Murals of New Jersey!!

I hired SG Decorative Painting to paint a desk for my daughter's room. I couldn't find what I was looking for so I bought a white desk and asked Stacey to paint the desk to match my daughter's room. Well, the desk is stunning. It is the focal point in my daughter's bedroom and a piece she will have for many years to come. Stacey far exceeded my expectations and at a very fair price. She is also very easy to work with and does what she says. I love that we have such a beautiful desk and one that is unique. I wouldn't hesitate to call SG Decorative Painting for any painting project I have.
