I saw Peter Miller's work at the Waterford Craft Fair in October, and fell in love with his beautiful gilded frames and mirrors. I had a historic 1763 house that need a mirror to fit over a fire place mantel and asked Peter to built one to very specific measurements. He created a beautiful silver leafed mirror and frame that really makes the small room look bigger and lifts it from an old historic room with plaster walls to a elegant space that reflects light. Peter finished the frame with just the perfect amount of sheen so it looks refined but not garish. I will recommend Peter Miller to any neighbors who need a hand made gilded work for either an historic place or a newer home. You couldn't buy this kind of mirror or frame at any store, and hand made mirrors cost a small fortune if you happen to find them at an antique show. And to top it off, Peter was a pleasure to work with.

Peter Miller is an artisan of the highest caliber. We have engaged him for many years on various projects. Peter Miller did an outstanding job restoring two wall sconces from the 19C as well as two 18C chairs and a framed mirror also from the 18C. He is passionate about his work and enjoys interacting with his clients. Peter Miller is a brilliant frame-maker. He has made perhaps a dozen frames for us over the years, and we have been completely satisfied. Peter has a vast knowledge of historical frames and uses this is create the right frame for the particular work. From design through delivery, the process has always been enjoyable, and the results magfinificent. whether it is a frame for a modest print or one for a large (4' x 6') painting, the frame is always harmonious with and shows the work to its best advantage. Through the years, frames have been recognized as works of art in their own right, and I believe that Peter's frames (which he properly signs) will also be recognized. The frames are not inexpensive and it takes about a month to have them made, but Peter provides value for money.
