I delight in the creative process and bring the very core of creativity itself into play by positioning the initial concept at the center of this unique process. The ability to establish and maintain a dialogue between the budding idea and the fully realized idea yet unseen is the heart of the creative process. There is a spark that moves between the two points. To let that spark fly, I must suspend my attachment to any preconceived notions about the idea and release any expectations. As my imagination is released, the magic begins, and the synergy between the basic idea and the potential inherent within the idea is stimulated. Learning to “get comfortable” in this creative stretch until the idea unfolds is an art in itself. When aligned with the idea in this way, there is often a flash of understanding as the beauty of the inspiration is grasped. As an artist, I attempt to reveal the love, light, and beauty inherent in nature.
