Felix and Adriana Ziga were absolutely wonderful to work with. It was my first time doing a remodel/renovation and it was a historic, 1935 cottage in a historic district --- and my childhood home. Felix had to do some redesigning of a difficult floor plan --- and he did a wonderful job! The Ziga's knew all of the in's and out's of how to get things done with the city's Office of Historic Preservation. They made things that might have been otherwise daunting very easy for me. They were always very accessible and took the time to go over things with me thoroughly and were very kind to me as a "newbie" to the remodeling/renovation field. Felix walked me through the selection of a contractor --- I went through 5 interviews before settling on the right one. Adriana as the designer did a fantastic job helping me with my vision on the interior and I got just what I wanted. I would choose them again and again and would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for an architect, interior design, or both -- they're a great team.

Building a home can be a crazy and stressful experience but working with Felix and Ziga Architecture Studio has been a Smooth and Stress free experience. Building a home in San Antonio with flood zone issues Feliz was the right choice for the job. Having the experience of knowing the can and can’t do’s was certainly a time saver. The personal attention he payed to me during the 1st draft to the Final draft was super special and awesome even with last minute changes cause we all know those come up. I Would definitely use and recommend him and his firm on future builds. Ian Ibarra

Can’t say enough positive things about our experience with Felix and Ziga Architecture. We were looking for an architect who could design an addition to our mid-century modern home and bring the special elements of the original design into the addition. His design exceeded our expectations. And Felix was with us throughout the project, ensuring the Builder delivered the product we imagined. The end result is a remarkable addition that blends so naturally with the original 1970s design that our neighbors even comment about how it looks like it was with the home from the beginning. Amazing to work with and highly recommend.

We set out to expand our home to accommodate an aging parent moving in with us. The project included adding a full kitchen, full bath, and adding an upstairs bedroom and full bath. Felix was an amazing help! From the very beginning, he listened deeply to what was important to us and he collaborated with both us and our builder to problem solve both in the design phase and in the construction itself. This project added more than 1,000 sq. ft. to our home and you would never know it was an addition. Felix's design makes it all look like it was designed this way from the beginning. He was also a huge help in working with the city to get a variance for our build. There were times in the project when we (the homeowners) were making ignorant decisions about things we thought we wanted and Felix was always very gentle with his counsel in a different direction and then happy to let us make the final decision. There is always a question, with every renovation, about whether it really is necessary to incur the cost of an architect...our work with Ziga Architecture was worth every penny AND SO MUCH MORE. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Ziga Architecture Studio performed a stunning transformation on our dull, midcentury Boerne home. Our brief to Felix and Adriana was to extend and update the existing home; to re-introduce it to the 21st century. Ziga Studio did so with such creativity and style that people passing by stop and compliment us on the new look. Ziga Studio is talented, versatile, budget conscious, flexible, adaptable, and gracious. Adriana's interior decorating advice informed our interior design choices and guided our selection of colors and textures so that the interior and exterior are pleasingly harmonious. Ziga Studio certainly has a knack at turning ordinary into extraordinary and I highly recommend their services.

Somos Real Estate

We used Ziga Design Build for architectural plans for a large addition on a historic home in San Antonio. Ziga was well versed in the rules of the local Historic Commission which helped assure approval with the Historic Design Review. Plans were delivered in a timely manor and the fee for services was reasonable. I recommend Ziga without hesitation.
