TODD ZWIGARD is a registered architect in the State of New York with thirty-one years of experience. He has been licensed for twenty-five years. He is a native of the New York area and received his degree in architecture from Cornell University. Before founding Kiss + Zwigard Architects in 1990 with partner Laszlo Kiss, he was a principal for seven years with Laszlo Kiss and Simon Ungers in the internationally recognized architectural design firm UKZ Design Inc. At the age of twenty-nine, Mr. Zwigard was already recognized and honored as one of the world's top "thirty under thirty" architects and designers by Interiors Magazine. He has also received a Federal Design Achievement Award for his museum exhibition design work at the Cooper-Hewitt Museum, Smithsonian Institute's National Design Museum. He was an adjunct Professor for five years at Parsons School of Design and an Assistant Professor for ten years at the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. In 2008 Todd ended his partnership with Laszlo Kiss and began his current practice as the sole Owner of Todd Zwigard Architects, based in Skaneatelas, NY with a satellite office in Aurora, NY and NYC. The firm has developed a specialty in Green architecture and built one of the first Green lofts in New York City for Todd's own family.
