Over the past 25 plus years, Stephen M. Schill has established himself as a preeminent architect in Northeast Ohio with an impressive resume that includes a vast array of spectacular homes. Steve's lifelong passion for architecture began as a child when his grandparents would take him for Sunday drives along Lake Road in Cleveland to see the stately old mansions. Ever since then, he instinctively knew he wanted to design great works of architecture that would withstand the test of time. Steve's firm Schill Architecture, LLC was established in 1991 when Stephen began designing luxury lakefront and estate homes throughout the greater Cleveland area. Steve Schill designed my home in Westlake. It was a great experience working with him. He is not only an excellent architect but an all around nice person who genuinely cares to design the best house for you. I find this to be a rare quality in home design and building. This is my fourth custom home and the first time working with Steve. I have been in my beautiful home for 7 months now. Steve thought of every little detail and I would not change a thing. People have actually knocked on my door to inquire about certain aspects of the home or just to tell me how beautiful it is. I enthusiastically recommend Schill Architecture

Steve Schill (Schill Architecture) did a fantastic job designing our lake home on Catawba Island. The attention to detail right from the start was beyond our expectations. The placement of the home on the lot, the detail both in and outside. Attention to the mechanical aspects of the home all the way to the finishing final details were managed to a tee. Schill managed the home start to finish. Nancy was spot on with handling the process of billings and waiver release detail so when our home was complete, all the i's were dotted and the t's were crossed. They did not manage the project from an office (Although I'm sure there was plenty of work in the office to be done). They were on site quite often and when called upon never failed to respond immediately to resolve any issues that would arise. Steve and Nancy are both professional and very personable people to work with. We consider them life long friends now. I would recommend Schill Architecture to any prospective client looking to build a custom home.

Steve's knowledge and experience in building high quality homes are some of the attributes that first attracted us, but as we continued working with Steve and Nancy, we've gotten to know the wonderful people that they are. After securing my dream lot in mature Bay Village OH in the spring of 2014 I quickly had to find out if I could make my dreams of a new home a reality. I contacted Steve and we hit it off right away. He was willing to attend a number of our planning meetings at my home which we appreciated with small children. Steve was responsive and considerate of the timeline. The end result was amazing. I have no regrets which is a great feeling when your investment in time and money is so great. Steve's experience allowed us to move as quickly as we could through the process. I would advise new folks building for the first time to be patient and to be very clear as to your design priorities. I could not be more proud of my new home.

I have worked with many architects in my life and I have never used one that has more passion than Schill Architecture. Stephen takes the level of professionalism and kicks it up about three notches. He literally takes half of the work off my plate with all of the information he puts on his final set of blueprints. He is an artist as much as he is an architect. The fact that his entire family works with him in his office really says something about him as well. The second you walk in the door you feel like you are part of the family.
