What we really liked about Rob’s architectural process was that it was really clear cut. When we first met with Rob, we explained to him what we wanted, and he was able to give us some concrete recommendations based on his own experience in the industry. He gave helpful information as to what was feasible and what was not. He easily guided us through the process in a very logical and practical manner. Everything was detailed out, right down to pricing which was a big concern. We liked that he was open to our suggestions and helped us brainstorm solutions. We toyed with the idea of either going up or out with our addition, and we liked that Rob had a lot of experience with this dilemma and easily outlined factual details about our home that helped to guide our decisions. In the end, we have received a lot of compliments from our neighbors that our addition looks very “proportional” to our lot size and existing structure. And that the addition blends in well. We love the trim work and dimensions of our new structure. Overall, we feel that our addition came out well. We feel like we have a brand new house and love it. We would highly recommend using Rob as an architect.

Our friend recommended Robert when we were looking for an architect to come up with a design idea for our renovation/addition project of our 1950 Tudor house in Bethesda. Robert was able to really understand our vision for the project and come up with a beautiful design preserving much of the original charm. Through out the process, he had great ideas to maximize the house functionality while making sure we didn’t break the budget. Working with Robert was extremely easy. He was always on time through out the design process and helped us find a reliable general contractor for our project. Interviewing at least five other architects and going through their portfolios, we can certainly say that Robert provides a great value with a very reasonable fee which is very hard to beat. Overall, we highly recommend him and hope to work with him in future again.

My wife and I have been following Re:New Architecture for the past 6 years. We loved the style of Re:New and Robert Nehrebcky's ability to convert a 1950's home to a home of the 21st century. We knew that we wanted to work with this architectual firm when the time came to build our new home. We contacted Re:New Architecture and we received a prompt response. Robert met us in our home and listened to our needs, wants and desires. The first phase of our project with Robert included the design phase. Bascially, layout for household function. Once we had the layout we progressed to the architectual design phase which are the detailed drawing for county permitting and bank financing. The final phase was the interaction with the county permitting. Robert was an advocate for us and helped facilitate swift and uneventful permitting to build our home. Our actual homebuilding should start anyday. We are excited he designed the home of our dreams! I feel confident that if we have any questions about the design or drawing as we build that Robert is an email or phone call away. I highly recommend Re:New Architecture for your home design needs.

Our experience with Rob could not have been better. First of all, he was flexible with his schedule in order to accommodate ours, often meeting on weekends or after dinner during the week. Rob was prompt. He was always on time for our meetings and with completing project tasks. What Rob delivered was even better than we expected. His contracted price was quite reasonable compared with other known architects in the area. Further, Rob’s estimates for total project cost from the builder were quite accurate. Rob worked with us to design our dream home! We are almost completed with the construction and cannot wait to move in. Rob did an excellent job designing our addition and re-configuring the layout of our small rambler. It's been almost 4 months since we moved back in, and I am in awe every time I come home. I love it! We now have a beautiful, functional house. Rob also designed a porch for the front of the house, that really enhances the curb appeal.

I was looking for an independent architect to design our home and then have it built by a builder. Looking at his design and ideas at houzz I liked his vision and transformational way he designs houses. We met with Robert and also visited one of the houses he was building. He delivered what we wanted in our budget. He listened very attentively and he didn’t miss any of our wish list items. His attention to detail is amazing.
