Page Repp and his skilled crew build our house in 2007. It was a complete remodel of a 2000 sq ft adobe block house built in 1960 with a 1200 addition. In short, they were amazing. Our architects worked hand and hand with Repp/Mclain to really deliver incredible design, quality and value. We were kept up to date on each aspect of construction. When something "new" arrived in the process (an un-anticipated issue in an older house for example), Page talked us through the options with no surprises.
In the end, we have an amazing home that oozes modern style and character. There have been ZERO problems now nearly 8 years post-construction. We love Page, Toby, and the whole gang and would look forward to building something fun with them again in the future.

One year after moving in we love our new home that was constructed by repp + mclain.
After working through a six month design phase with our architect Aaron Katz he recommended repp + mclain to build our home. It's a modern design, so it was a natural fit for repp + mclain. During the contracting phase we got to know Page Repp who came up with some great money saving ideas to help meet our budget. Handling of the contract, payments, and liens by the office personnel throughout the project could not have been better.
Repp + mclain was very attentive during the construction phase and also very flexible/accommodating of changes. Construction started in February 2014 with a contract end date of October 1, 2014. We were pleased to move in by the end of August. They made the project from beginning to end a pleasure.
After moving in we had repp + mclain make some minor changes to the master bathroom which also were handled professionally.
If we were going to build again we would choose repp + mclain.

Rick McClain, AIA, LEED, AP designed my home and I can't recommend him highly enough. His approach to the design process was brilliant. It was enjoyable, efficient and effective. After a preliminary meeting in his office, Rick traveled to the building site to identify effective passive solar orientation of the residence, to get a feel for the land and to identify the qualities desired in the home. He took me through a checklist of items to determine desired rooms, sizes, etc. Rick then presented me with 3 different residence designs. Each of these included a floor plan as well as 3-D interior and exterior elevations. This was so helpful in giving a sense of size and space relationships. Rick was easy to work with and designed a beautiful home that fit all the parameters of function, budget, size and aesthetics. My property is located in a small town 60 miles from the Tucson office of Repp McLain Design + Construction. Rick worked well with the local contractor answering questions and making recommendations as needed. He visited the building site during construction to be sure the details were being carried out per plan specifications. Rick was available throughout the design/build process. He answered questions and always gave the reason for his responses and suggestions -- always logical and straightforward. In closing, in addition to being an exceptionally talented architect, Rick McClain is also an exceptionally fine person for whom I have the greatest respect.

My husband and I hired Repp McLain Design + Construction in March 2012 to design a home for a vacant 4.25 acre desert parcel in NW Tucson. We gave the design team a set of challenges, including designing an energy-efficient, modern house with unique building materials that was still fun and yet desert-appropriate. The team at Repp McLain helped us to overcome some major site challenges, such as the floodplain that made the vast majority of the site unsuitable for building. We started construction in April 2013, and the Repp McLain team has continued the continuous improvement and creative process, planning unique trim finishes and bringing the vision of a sustainable yet "not-granola-crunchy" house to life. Energy-efficient features include a ground-mounted 7.8KW PV solar array, an economizer for non-conditioned air in cooler evenings, and spray-foam insulation. Repp McLain are talented rock stars of design and construction, and fun to boot!
