Karen Otis designed our modern style home in Huntington Beach. She created a beautiful modern home showing off concrete floors and structural steel beams and staircase. She designed our complete home, from modern elevation to inside kitchen, baths, rooms and an outdoor space that extends from our living room through bi-fold doors. We are very happy with our home thanks to Karen Otis.

We hired Otis Architecture before we moved across the country from the east coast to California. Karen from Otis Architecture coordinated the installation of our hardwood floors, carpet and paint while we still lived on the east coast. Design isn't my thing - but with Karen aboard, I had no worries. She took care of all of the little things that I didn't have time to deal with. The results were AMAZING and we hired Otis Architecture again after we moved into our home, this time to remodel our kitchen. Again, we had a great experience. I would absolutely recommend Otis Architecture. Karen has that rare gift of figuring out exactly what you want and then implementing great design. We found her to be professional, personable, very accessible and totally on top of things at all times.

Karen Otis provided both architectural and interior design services for our custom built residence. She developed the design from a simple concept "create a contemporary home with a open Hawaii feel". Her attention to detail, blending colors, use of various textures and woods resulted in an elegant yet functional living space. The openness design and pocket doors on both the front and back of the home provides that feeling without losing the comfort of being indoors. Karen Otis is in our opinion one of the best architect/designers in her field. Her knowledge, professionalism is beyond anything we could have asked for. Karen designed, hired the sub-contractors and held weekly meetings for a large home remodel. There isn't one person that walks into our home and does not comment on the beauty and functionality of our home. Karen was hands on and available when any problems arose. She helped picked everything from paint colors to door handles and everything in between. There is no other architect we would consider hiring except Karen Otis.
