Working on our kitchen with KIm Doggett was everything we could have asked for and more. Since our kitchen is very small, we thought our options would be very limited. Not the case; Kim worked up many options for us to choose from, finding space for everything we wanted in our 1925 Spanish bungalow. His incredible attention to historical detail resulted in a beautiful kitchen that looks as if it were always here, but has every modern convenience that we need. Kim guided me through a gut renovation project from start to finish. He provided architectural drawings, vendor/material recommendations, project specifications/requirements for the contractor, and reviewed the contractor's work at various stages to verify completeness. My house project was quite complex and included structural, electrical, and plumbing work that wasn't straightforward (old house, solid concrete walls, etc). Kim was patient and took the time to explain his ideas. His designs were elegant, and he added-in features that I never would have come up with independently. He makes himself available to his clients as well as the contractor whenever questions arose. He was a pleasure to work with and would be an asset to your project.

Visitors are astounded at how he created storage space that is as large and convenient as it is invisible because of his skill in blending storage and attractive 'showcase features' into his design. He is an artist in design. Demonstrating astounding design, he built an office/den that includes a built-in bookcase and desk, plus embedded cabinets and drawer stacks, that all works together in exquisite harmony because of the subtle symmetry of the panel moldings on all walls and the ceiling. Result -- a den/office that is breathtaking! His designed and rebuilt two bathrooms – as exquisite as they are different. Because of Kim’s amazing skill and commitment, our apartment is magnificent. It reflects our ideas, but it achieves so much more because of Kim’s attentiveness and design skill. And attention to detail – I couldn't believe how many times he wanted to explain the effects of different configurations for one bathroom shower! I will engage Kim to perform his architectural magic on any future projects that I plan.
