We contracted Green Point Design to draft building plans for our new custom build in Glenlyon, VIC. Eric took the time to carefully consider several designs that may provide the best use of the land in terms of views, sustainability, efficiency, materials and practicality. Using his experience in passive and energy efficient design he was able to walk us through varied options and use the different designs to match a plan to not only our budget but also our personal style and tastes. We were advised very early by Eric that our design/drafting process would take time and many hours of consultation to get it right. We were encouraged to ask questions and request explanations as it was truly important to get exactly what we wanted from the process. With an enormous amount of patience and commitment Eric pieced together our dream home. We are very happy with the result.

We used the services of Eric through 2018 for our renovation & extension to a heritage overlay property in Ballarat. Eric provided ideas, recommendations, advice on design, &regulations and support & practical tips to enable our Planning and Building Permit to be approved. Throughout this period Eric was professional, thorough, attentive to our needs, timely and respectful of us and our project. Great architect would highly recommend. Listened to what our requirements were and more than met the project brief. Sue also devised a unique colour palate that works well in the new house extension. Would also recommend Eric in the role of project manager. He handled the project very well. Even the smallest details were much better than we could have achieved and was a great liaison with the builder. If we ever did another project we would use Eric and Sue again.

Green Point Design completed our house extension. We were keen to have an energy efficient passive solar design that complemented our modern existing house. Our experiences were positive. Eric is a good listener and it was a pleasure to work with him. From initial thought-provoking designs through to the final drawings the process was clear and we felt very involved. He assisted with keeping within our budget and engaging and supervising the build. Sue was a great help in the interior design and chose some great colours that we are still happy with some years later. When we decided to go down the exciting path of designing and building our own home, Eric Zehrung of Green Point Design helped us realise a design that worked for us: simple, elegant, fitting into the environment and as sustainable as we could be. My wife and I used Green Point Design for our first, and only house project:- demolition of the back half of a Victorian weatherboard house, renovation of same, and adjoining extension. We were impressed with the way Eric interpreted our brief in unexpected and innovative ways, within our budget. His attention to detail resulted in a comprehensive set of drawings and specification that allowed us to tender to multiple builders, confident that they were quoting on the same thing. My Husband and I acquired some land from family and wanted to build a home that would last through several generations. We had never experienced building prior but knew we didn't want a "off the plan" house. We found Eric on line, he was easy to deal with and had a great way of explaining things in a way we could fathom. We wanted to take our time with the plans and Eric never made us feel rushed. He was open to meeting after hours and on weekends as we needed. We felt that we received accurate and timely estimates of the cost of his work as well as the cost of the build and possible pitfalls along the way. I was particular keen to incorporate some more "green" aspects to our house and Eric was a great resource for information and references. We had to make a change to the plans just prior to the slab being poured, Eric was very prompt at helping us get the necessary changes made so the build was not delayed. Overall Eric was enthusiastic and a pleasure to deal with.

Eric was involved in our house project from concept to completion. He was meticulous in every detail especially with a building material that both he and the builder had not used before. The end result has already surpassed our hopes for an eco friendly practical home Each of the seasons has its particular demands on a house from heat, light and comfort the design features incorporated mitigate the extremes these times bring, so much so that the requirement for heating and cooling is markedly reduced.

Eric designed our new house and was wonderful to work with, across all phases of the design including brief, concepts and detailed design. Nothing was a problem for Eric, who diligently managed the brief, delivered when promised and created a house that the whole family love (and a lot of the neighbours adore). Recently we added a swimming pool, and used Eric's services to design a pool house and kitchen. Eric designed some fabulous spaces. Eric is a great architect, who is very honest and reliable. Would have no hesitation in recommending him.

We have worked with Greenpoint Design on several projects and have found Eric to be very professional & thorough with these projects. Thier quality plan detail & specification documentation is second to none. Eric is always looking for the latest design software to help bring his concepts to life for the clients & contractors to understand with excellent clarity. Eric is very easy to talk to & also listens to other ideas and generally takes a common sense approach to challenges which often present themselves on most projects. I can't think of too many negitives to say about Greenpoint Design. A very good architectural business to deal with from a building practitioners point of view.
