Attention to detail and accuracy are all crucial elements when completing a kitchen renovation. We have recently worked together with Granit Architects to install a stunning kitchen installation that really is the ‘heart of the home’. We shared various thoughts on all aspects from the materials and finishes to any design challenges that arose at the design and installation stage. Overall from the design stage to the correspondence on site we could not fault Granit Architects and their team, and we hope to work with them again soon.

We recently moved back into our house after a total refurbishment designed and managed by Granit Architects and we cannot recommend them highly enough. With no option to increase the footprint of the house, Granit's insightful and judicious design has transformed what felt like a small, dark and dated terraced property into a spacious, light and contemporary family home. From the early planning stages right through to overseeing the project on a day-to-day basis and creating the overall look and interior design style, Granit have been with us every step of the way. We have worked with Granit on a couple of complicated jobs, one of which didn't proceed in the end despite much thought being given to it by the design team. On the one that went ahead, I would say that Granit worked their socks off to ensure a successful delivery for the client and, as builders, we appreciated everything they did. They were very effective at finding a way through any issues - they listened to us if we had a problem and kept us focused when needed. The site team did not want for any information. I suspect that it is largely attributable to them that after a long project with quite a few challenges we all ended up with a happy client (I hope!) and a magazine-featured project to boot! If a friend asks me for an Architect, I have no hesitation in recommending Granit.

Consistently the Granit team have worked in genuine partnership with Woodmans. Granit deliver excellent designs, detailed plans and have worked in collaboration with us to find good solutions to the challenges that can arise during a large scale build or renovation. As always the proof of success is in how happy the clients have been with the end result, which they absolutely have, however the journey is also important and the approach and support of the Granit team has helped us deliver some truly excellent large scale property renovations and builds on private houses in both London and Sussex.

We highly recommend working with Granit Architects not just from a customer point of view but as a construction and project management. company as well. Our main point of contact was Linzi Kettle who was a pleasure to work with on one of our most recent projects. She provided great drawings along with schedules and specs. She had great attention to detail and her tender and construction packages included all the necessary information needed to do a fantastic job. She was a wonderful communicator as a contract administrator and moved quickly between client and contractor but with great attention to detail, friendliness and professionalism. We highly recommend Linzi as well the great team who work at Granit and we would definitely work with them again.

We highly recommend Granit. James Munro was our main point of contact and we really liked his approach to designing for light and space because it was what we needed in the new extension. James and his team not only helped the overall vision but were extremely helpful throughout with all the various small decisions that can become overwhelming. We had our own vision and Granit not only realised them but made them even better. He helped us make the most of the space, and James’s design has really changed the house and given us a much stronger connection with our home – even the garden feels part of our space now.
