Fletcher + Hardoin Architects is an Architectural and Planning firm providing services to clients on a wide variety of residential, commercial, hospitality, and light industrial projects. The firm was founded in 1988 by principals Daniel Fletcher and Philip Hardoin, both graduates of the highly respected architecture school at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Their long-standing partnership offers clients the benefit of their combined individual strengths, years of experience, and innovative professional talent. Over the years we have been fortunate to meet and work with many wonderful clients, and have worked diligently to earn their trust. As a result, a majority of our work is done for repeat clients and their referrals. `From the day we met Dan Fletcher, my husband and I felt very comfortable because we all agreed on the importance of maintaining the structural integrity of our home. As the design process developed, his talent as a masterful architect became more apparent. Each feature he designed looks indigenous to the house and is magnificent on its own, yet subtle and a part of the whole. He also opened up the house to create more expansive views, added romantic and practical lighting, redesigned and added space as well as adding design details to make our home beautiful, welcoming and easy to navigate. Working with Dan was a pleasure. He is a good listener, very eager to please and very flexible. He was always prepared with the most up-to-date plans and willing to sketch alternative options for us to consider. We worked with him for more than two years from the beginning of the design concept through the construction phase of the project. We strongly believe his hands-on involvement is why the house functions so perfectly now. Both Eric and I feel so fortunate to have worked with Dan and recommend Fletcher + Hardoin to those looking for an innovative and detail-minded architectural firm.
