In 2005 I hired Ed Elliott to design a stand-alone 2-car garage. I wanted the structure to be large enough so that I could have storage and a workbench in the back, and an attic large enough to walk in. Ed listened to my ideas and drew up plans for a 24 ft wide by 26 ft deep garage with no pillars in the parking area. The design is clean and the finished building looks great and is really solid.. In 2010 I needed to rebuild my back porch and I employed Ed again. It was a small structure, but Ed’s design beautifully matched the character of my 100 year old house. To summarize, I really enjoyed working with Ed and I am very happy with how both projects turned out.

Appx 2009, Architectural services in conjunction with complete rehabilitation of front porch including maintaining the 100year+ architectural integrity of the porch. 2013, remodel 2nd floor of residence in order to separate 2 bedrooms and 1 bath from the balance of the floor plate. Elliott-Architect has provided most professional service consistently.

Elliott-Architects did excellent work redesigning our front porch and overseeing the work by the contractor. Along with redesigning the porch, this work involved addressing a persistent leak into our basement and improving access from the driveway to the front porch. Everything was done quickly and professionally.

The project consisted in correcting a design flaw in a roll-off roof that had ruptured, updating the plans, finding a contractor to build a new roof and ensuring the work was done in accordance with the plans. Elliot-Architects quickly determined the issue and executed a corrected plan within a week. Additional reinforcements were introduced that will extend the useful life of the roll-off roof considerably. The contractor recommended did a good job and construction was completed satisfactorily.

The service was Professional and very detailed. Changes from us during the process were accepted graciously and incorporated into the plans. They worked very well with the contractor and kept us up to date on any necessary changes. (we have an old house and there are always surprises during renovations.) They kept the feel of the old house in the addition.

I appreciate the work Ed Elliott did for Kara and me. He did a fine job in working with me to produce a wonderful home design at a high-level using 3D Home Architect Deluxe. Then, he produced the blueprints which enabled me to build the house we have enjoyed for 15 years. We are very thankful for his measured advice!

The preliminary plans were done using 3D Home Architect during client review. They were converted to and completed using Autocad Architectural Desktop.

Ed was a pleasure to work with during the five years it took me to finish the renovation and expansion of my large home in Westchester County. He was consistently creative, practical, approachable and patient. Some of the solutions he came up with were unique and he visited the site many, many times to ensure that the contractor was faithfully following the blue prints, building codes and his artistic point of view. The building inspector approved our finished job with no objections whatsoever. BTW, at the end, my home sold in 4 days and for $116,000 over asking in a softening market. The home's sale was featured in the NY Times.
