I am very pleased with the job Designs At Work has done for us. I found them to be not only professional, but good at what they do. I am a general contractor specializing in high-end custom homebuilding. I have worked with Bill Fisher for over 15 years. Over that time he has been a very reliable, professional draftsman. He also has been very creative when we've have a design problem or a difficult element that clients would like to incorporate into their design. While he uses CAD software, he is also very capable of doing line drawing by hand; something very rarely found these days and is necessary at times on difficult designs. Since all my homes are custom designed by me I know I can trust Bill to make sure all the mechanical and architectural elements are correct. There are never any "surprises" during the framing stage of construction. I trust Bill Fisher with all my work.

Bill did a great job designing our new house. It is under construction now and we will post some pictures when it is finished. Bill met with us to find out what style of house we wanted, including appearance and floor plan. He was able to turn that into a preliminary design which we liked a lot. We then reviewed the design with our builder and with Bill and made a few minor changes. Bill has a lot of experience and has a good understanding of house design including consideration of how the house will be built and how it will be used. We are looking forward to enjoying the finished project for many years to come.

Bill was able to interpret our ideas and incorporate a picture we started with to completely design the plans for our ranch home. After the first drawing, we had very few changes to make and Bill was able to quickly turn those plans around into finished drawings. He brings a wealth of experience to the table at a very affordable price for his services. Furthermore, he was able to suggest a number of cost-saving ideas without compromising the structure or overall aesthetics of the design.
