I can thoroughly recommend Mark Wilson and the team at Danette Architecture. Mark managed the build of my house in Normanhurst over the period May 2010 - Nov 2010. The result is a thoughtfully designed home full of light and space. From our first meeting I felt confident that Mark would give me not just what I thought I wanted, but a house that would work in the long term, and one that I would be happy to live in for many years. . While a major renovation is incredibly stressful I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of working with a professional architect who knew how to translate my sometimes rather vague wants/needs into a three dimensional space that is lovely and very functional. Mark and his team took care of every aspect of the build - their attention to detail is amazing. His quotation for the scope of work clearly outlined his fees, what would be done and what could be expected at each stage of the project. He was very good at answering my many questions, his advice was well considered and he explained everything. In addition to the clear fee structure, Mark gave accurate cost estimations which greatly assisted my budgeting. He provided detailed plans and diagrams and the council application went through without problems.

From the outset we found Mark and his polite and attentive manner to be exactly what we needed to guide us through the planning and approvals phase of the major extensions to our home. Whenever we rang he either answered the phone or rang us back within an hour. He always turned up on time and was willing to work out how he could incorporate our preferences into the final design. When other consultants proved problematic he was forthcoming with great advice and helped us resolve the issues effectively. We would not hesitate to use Danette Design again and would highly recommend Mark and his team to other potential clients.
