Balfoort Architecture ROCKS!
As an executive for a large scale commercial contractor - I am well aware of the risks and potential disappointments relative to expectations from customer and Architect. As I endeavored on the daunting task of a complete gut and rebuild of my personal home, I knew I had a lot at stake relative to my family and their expectations. : ) I am glad to say today - from permitting, space planning, budget consideration and relevant architecture, Michelle Balfoort exceeded all my expectations and my family's.

Our kitchen suffered some water damage. We hired Michele to help us reconfigure the space and update the look. She heard everything we had to say, accommodated us and brought us new ideas. We went through a few revisions until we hit it. She was amazing! Easy to work with, smart and innovative. Can't thank her enough!

Balfoort provided architectural and design services to us regarding two very different projects. One was the total renovation of our office in a 1920's era historic retail building. The other was a total gut renovation of two residential condominium units combined into one large apartment. In both cases, Michelle Balfoort was creative, collaborative, and cooperative in working with us. I would highly recommend her.

We have worked with Balfoort Architecture on several projects. They are extremely capable, professional, innovative, and truly a pleasure to work with. From start to finish, they know what they're doing and how to anticipate any issues that typically come up on large custom homes. I would HIGHLY recommend doing business again with them--in fact, we are currently underway with our next project with Balfoort Architecture--can't wait to see how the next house turns out!!!
