Brinkman Architecture is a full-service architecture firm specializing in residential and small commercial properties. Providing architecture, interior design and historic preservation services and sustainable home make-overs. Great design begins as a collaborative effort between the architect and the client. It answers the spatial needs of the client using energy efficient structures and environmentally-friendly, quality materials. It recognizes the integrity of any existing building, the site and the surrounding neighborhood. **Due to the current volume of work, we do not anticipate starting any new projects until July of 2021.**

Brinkman Architecture has done the designs for two apartment renovations for us, one in an 1890's Brooklyn brownstone and one in a 1980's condo. In the first, we redesigned the kitchen and switched the locations of a door and a window. In the second, we doubled the size of the kitchen, started over with the bathroom, and pushed walls and doors back to open up a small hallway. Karen was thorough in working to understand our needs and wants with the renovations, creative in thinking of solutions to tricky problems, punctual and timely in delivering materials, and absolutely professional along the way. It was a pleasure to work with her.

Brinkman Architecture did several jobs for me. I have had no problems with the Town when applying for permits for the jobs. The architect is experienced. Karen understands and has full knowledge of the codes. She demonstrates the expertise of a modern designer. She helps me to design my rooms utilizing the space adding value to the property. I enjoy working with Brinkman Architecture. Karen exemplifies team work. She is professional. I have referred this company to other home owners as well as contractors . We have worked with Karen at Brinkman for countless projects; baths, kitchens, whole-house remodels; light commercial spaces, and additions. She is a true professional and has some great ideas for the spaces we are hired to remodel. She is willing to stop by on a moment's notice for questions and advice, which is important for the remodeling that we are involved in. We plan to continue working with her for all of our remodels in the future.
