Birch Freeman Design is an Architecture and Interior Design Studio founded by Catherine Birch Freeman and Richard Freeman. With a combined 40 years+ of industry experience the practice has developed a dynamic portfolio of residential projects.
With backgrounds in cutting edge commercial and retail architecture and design, the team have a unique and original perspective to offer on residential design. Providing our clients with unusual materials, niche suppliers and specialist contractors, results in projects that break the mould and push the boundaries of what a residential space can be.
Our team are based in Chiswick, West London, where we have a studio in the creative business hub of The Barley Mow Centre. We have a comprehensive materials sample library that we can share with you, including an extensive collection of carbon neutral and recycled materials on which we are becoming recognised as industry experts.
With a passion to design spaces that express our clients' personalities, we can work through your project with you from concept through to completion. We pride ourselves on our ability to meet and exceed our clients' expectations and create lasting relationships.
We have experience working with listed properties as well as new builds and enjoy formulating design schemes that celebrate and enhance existing architecture. Our services cover all RIBA stages of work from early planning stage drawings through detail design and into construction. We produce concept stage presentations that include mood images and sample boards which then progress into CAD plans and elevations alongside rendered visuals to assist the project transition from 2D to 3D.
All of our fee quotations are itemised to assist you with budgeting. Following an initial free consultation with you we will provide you with a tailored 'shopping list' of design services and corresponding fees that you can select from.
