Lorilee was a great help in designing our kitchen and bathrooms. We did a pretty massive reno and she was a steady presence throughout the process. Her recommendations were helpful and practical, she communicated clearly and was very responsive. We've been in the place ~2 years and extremely happy with the results. Lorilee is as close to a dream kitchen designer as we could have hoped for. She patiently allowed us to work through all the options, making well-informed suggestions as we navigated the hundreds of options, and ultimately crafted a plan at a price point that we felt totally comfortable with. From there, she handled all the important vendor specs and orders, double-checking all the measurements. And much to our delight, she made a point of being onsite the moment the cabinet delivery truck pulled up and, clipboard in hand, inspected every piece to make sure the order was complete. One quick example of her sense of customer service: During the install, we noticed a chip on one of the cabinet doors and without hesitating she was on the phone ordering up a replacement. We wanted to remodel our kitchen and bathroom in a very tiny log home. In order to increase the size of the space, it required moving an outside door. We needed guidance and contacted Starlight Kitchen. Lorilee was prompt with a call back, came to our home within a week, understood our goals, and helped us realize our vision. She has access to great builders who were knowledgeable on our project. Her input and suggestions were invaluable. She transformed our home from a dark, small cabin into a simple, light, take on a Scandinavian home.

They say you get only two out of three for timing, quality and value. We got all three plus a very collaborative relationship where the whole was so much greater than the sum of the participants. I love my kitchen! It was a truly wonderful experience working with Lorilee of Starlight Kitchen and Bath. She is a consummate professional as well as a thoughtful and fun person. From the planning and imagining, right through to the smallest final touches, Lorilee was there with guidance and attention to detail. The kitchen is small, but with Starlight's help in reconfiguring things, it functions beautifully, now, and seems like a much larger space. I love my Kraftmaid cabinets (Warm White, shaker style) and soapstone counters. The finishes look and feel fantastic and the cabinets and drawers are really well made. We first met Lorilee before she began her own practice. In our initial discussions at that time we knew that she would be the professional we chose to help us rework an almost impossible gerrymandered set of spaces in an 1845 Greek Revival house. Her fully-informed professional knowledge is complimented by an easy-going warmth and humor that helps mitigate the open-ended terrors of house renovation. Once we reached the kitchen design stage, we had multiple discussions in which Lorilee designed production cabinetry for a large stream-lined galley kitchen, including under-counter lighting, and maximized spaces with capacious convenient storage units. She also saved us both money and time by having custom cupboard doors made for several built in cabinets of non-standard sizes throughout the house, enhancing architectural elegance while fitting challenging spaces. She was always responsive to our questions, was always on time for meetings and deadlines, and worked extremely well with our builder and his crew. Her knowledge of the various complex product lines, and their relative cost vs. value, gave us maximum choice in creating a beautiful, functional set of spaces. Our nephew, who is an executive chef in New York City, thought it was a fabulous kitchen in which many cooks could--and did--work together, but did not spoil the broth! This project was designed in 2017 and installation was completed in June 2018. We would recommend Starlight Kitchen & Bath without reservation.

Our challenge to Lorilee was to renovate our kitchen while maintaining the same floor plan. We worked twice with Lorilee Reuillard of Starlight. The first time was to renovate a kitchen in our quintessential 1940s Maine coastal cottage.
