We specialize in custom kitchen cabinetry, built-ins, custom furniture, and millwork. We work with homeowners, designers, and architects to help design, build, and install custom cabinetry and woodworking. We started Rexhill to create contemporary designs that preserve the warmth and appeal of traditional craftsmanship. We are a family-owned business owned and operated by Justin and Paula King. Our home and our business are in Beacon, New York–the heart of the Hudson Valley. We have worked with clients in the Hudson Valley, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Connecticut, and Westchester.

I hired Rexhill to produce a large bespoke jewelry box that could be an heirloom piece and complement my mid-century modern aesthetic all at once. The highly skilled consultative design process was conducted in a commanding and authentic way. Paula coaxed, coached and cajoled me into expressing my ideas and blended them with Rexhill's gravitas and expertise. The end product is wholly phenomenal. It is by far and away the most beautiful thing I own and (thanks to Paula) represents the very best of my tastes. The quality is museum-like and Justin is nothing short of a master craftsman.

I have been working with Rexhill for a while now and have watched them quickly and smartly grow their company from an idea to a staple of the Beacon Maker community as well as the greater Hudson Valley Furniture design scene. If you are thinking about getting a piece from Rexhill, do it now!

My husband and I hired Rexhill to create a decorative table for us. We explained that we wanted a top with a live edge. Besides that, it was the artists' discretion. The product he created is absolutely incredible! It is incredibly gorgeous. The top of the table looks like sand under only a couple inches of water at the ocean! The way he stained it is gorgeous! It is well made with love and craftmanship. I would absolutely hire Rexhill again!

I loved working with Rexhill and can't wait to work with them again. We had a small space and needed a small but necessary piece to fill it and they made the most beautiful piece, a stunning bed side table/chest of drawers. I'm delighted every time I see it. Now, based on this one piece we're working on designing the rest of the bedroom furniture. . . . It's a really fun collaboration, we get exactly what we need and they make it more lovely then we imagined.

I used Rexhill Furniture for two projects in 2013. They made a stunning custom designed open book case fabricated of American black walnut and concrete (shelves) for a high-end residential project in the Hudson Valley. Both the client and I were thrilled with the quality of the piece, and the professionalism of Rexhill. I also used Rexhill to fabricate a set of custom barstools for a boutique hospitality project (the RoundHouse at Beacon Falls) - and again was delighted with the work. They are prompt, courteous, resourceful and incredible artisans. I look forward to using them again on future projects.
