We hired Sean thinking that he would do a great job and be easy to work with. We needed to revamp a built-in bookcase to a built-in media center. The job was basic enough it just required redoing the molding and taking out an existing cabinet. He suggested putting lights in the top of the media center which required making holes in the top of the piece (which is solid wood). It didn't come out right. I asked if we could add a long piece of molding to help cover the light. He didn't want to work with us on building something to modify the built-in. He wouldn't even discuss suggestions to make it work. We have been after him for over a month to get him back. He was upset that we weren't 100% happy requested 70% ($2000) and left. He said he wouldn't leave us and there is no hearing back despite multiple attempts. This review is to be continued but we are presently very dissatisfied with his attitude and failure to work with his clients. We have an old house where we would need him but I guess he doesn't really care about his clients satisfaction or future opportunities.

I sit on the Board of Directors for Homes For Veterans (HFV) a registered 501(c) organization that helps disabled veterans by making their lives a little bit easier through remodel and renovations.
O'Brien Finish Carpentry was prompt, cost sensitive, clean, efficient, and innovative. The most important factor to us was the creativity the company showed. They were able to come in and see things and give ideas that I was unable to see. For example; our veteran is in a wheelchair and given the narrow hallways often had to back out of certain rooms. O'Brien Finish Carpentry was able to see that by altering a portion of the hallway and closing off a small portion of unused closet space could effectively create a 360 degree turnaround for our veteran thus allowing him constant forward motion.
HFV will continue to utilize O'Brien Finish Carpentry in jobs to come.

O'Brein put in 3 arches on my first floor and also put in crown molding through out my first floor. The work was done very well and timely. They also were quick to come back and do some touch up work after the main job was done. I will definite use them again.
