Wow!! I can’t say enough about this company. This was our first job with them and it turned out so much better than we even expected. They were very precise and detailed. The project manager was on site to answer any and all questions even if they were little and ridiculous. We are so pleased with every interaction and the final result we will be using them for all the upcoming projects in our home. It took a lot of research to find this company and let me save you the hassle of doing that. Hire them!! You won’t regret it.

We contacted Madera to build an accent wall in our cavernous master bedroom. It was when he told us about his experience with yacht woodwork that we knew we found the right person. The wall created by Carlos and his team is so beautiful. We asked for an accent wall and they gave us a floating work of art. We are very pleased with Carlos and his team and will be doing another project with them soon.

Carlos at Madera Furniture designed and created a bookshelf to fit under a counter/bar overhang in our condominium home. He listened closely to what we wanted and made a piece that is beautiful and practical. And he did this on schedule and budget. We are very happy with the results.

David Pool Architecture pllc

David Pool Architecture has collaborated over the years with Madera Furniture Company and we have done three projects together. The most significant collaboration we have had with Carlos was on the Browns Point Residence. The kitchen cabinets, live edge bars, wine cellar, and a powder room vanity were all custom built for the client. The client was so impressed with his work, that they commissioned Carlos to design and build numerous pieces of original custom fine furniture for their new home. Carlos' design, craftsmanship and attention to detail was beautiful. Carlos and his crew are master craftsmen and artist. Carlos and his crew have built a custom reception desk, credenza, and matching tables for my law office. The quality of the work performed is impeccable. They are true craftsmen and artists. Carlos is amazing. He not only aims to succeed in making what you mentally "see" and scribble childlike on paper, he verbalizes ideas and comes up with photos of completed projects for you to view so you both are on the same page prior to the project beginning. The finished result was beyond our expectations. We used a mid century modern 1960's buffet as a bathroom vanity. Madera's artisans made 3 cabinets, staining each perfectly to match 55 year old walnut! The outcome is stunning, turning the old modern look into an ultra sleek new modern bathroom! We are thrilled with the work, professionalism and on time as promised! 5 stars!

JB McHugh Construction, Inc.

We had the privilege of building a incredible modern/contemporary home for Bill and Sherry Gates. Onsite was an upmost skilled team of subcontractors that worked on this master piece. Madera Furniture Company provided all the cabinets constructed out of Afromosia with Esto glass doors, wine cellar, wood countertops made out of Elm wood, front entry door and several pieces of fine furniture. Construction and Quality was on the highest standard. Carlos and his team take pride in their work and are a pleasure to work with. If, your looking for something like no other please check Madera out.

Every member of the Madera Furniture Company was knowledgeable , professional , and highly skilled. Carlos Taylor-Swanson, Founder & President, designed with an artistic eye and precision technical skill. Carlos is a dream to work with for any home owner, he cares about every detail: wood, stain, style, hardware and installation perfection. Madera's work is in every room of our newly constructed home. He created our American Elm front door, an American Elm slab bar with live edge and waterfall. The custom dinning table and bench are American Elm slab with live edge and blackened steel base; we will dine on a piece of art! The cabinet work throughout the house is a warm and wonderful Afromosia. The wine cellar is beautifully designed in Walnut veneer. The indoor- outdoor BBQ and TV room cabinets are Amber bamboo faced, very relaxing atmosphere. We commissioned a few furniture pieces as well, an AV cabinet in the great room and 6 bedroom nightstands - perfect additions to an already masterful job by Madera Fine Decorative Furnishings! Photos will surely be coming to Houzz !

Madera Furniture provided custom casework for an extensive Gig Harbor, Washington, residential renovation designed by Steel Architects. Our client had worked with Carlos on previous furniture projects and was confident that Madera would deliver the highest level of craftsmanship for our detail oriented cabinets and millwork. Madera was definitely up to the task and was a pleasure to work with. They bring to a project tremendous technical knowledge, a high level of execution, and excellent communication with clients and designers.

Comentado: what wood are the cabinets made from? also the waterfall bar top?The cabinet faces are panels we custom veneered in afromosia - sometimes mistakenly referred to as African Teak. The bar is American elm.
