Our Story: It was the year 2001 when owner, Don Vensel AKA “Chip”, had finally decided to start specializing in cabinetry. He had spent the previous 20 years building experience as a woodworker, trim carpenter, and general contractor. After seeing a void for quality craftsmanship and customer service in the custom cabinet industry, he decided that he would start a company, with those key values at its core. It was the discipline that he developed through his time spent serving in the US Marines, coupled with his attention to detail while being responsible for troubleshooting weapons systems on attack helicopters, that formed the perfect catalyst for this craft. Several years after its inception, Don’s son, Justin, would begin to follow in his father’s footsteps from a young age. Justin worked for years learning the fundamentals of custom cabinetry fabrication and kitchen design. This experience, along with his passion for technology and creativity, allows him to work with each customer to produce 3D renderings of what their future cabinets will look like. Today, Don and Justin work together in tandem, along with their team of family members and family friends, to craft anything from contemporary high-gloss kitchens, to an ornate, traditional cherry kitchens.
