Javier O. Guerra was born and raised in Houston, TX, and knew from early childhood that construction was his passion. This was sparked by growing up on construction sites while his dad worked in the family business of finish trim carpentry. Not only was his Dad a Trim Carpenter, but so were his Grandpa and his Uncle. From these early years he was able to develop an eye for the smallest of details and picked up some carpentry skills along the way. He received his degree from the University of Houston (GO COOGS!) in Construction Management in 2003, and has gained valuable experience while working for some of the top construction firms in Houston. These include being a Construction Manager for Plantation Homes, and being in Project Management for Vaughn Construction, Faithful+Gould, and Arch-Con Construction. During these tenures he was able to deliver projects for clients such as: ExxonMobil, MD Anderson Canter, UT Health Science Center, University of Houston, San Jacinto Methodist Hospital, Signorelli Company, Academy Sports and Outdoors, Kroger, & many more. With a family history in construction, and his professional experience, Javier started Grako Construction with a vision of providing quality work at a competitive price. He enjoys taking a “hands-on” approach where he will be ready to take on any task himself. That “let’s get it done” mentality combined with working collaboratively with clients is where truly amazing results occur! After work, Javier and his wife, Gabriella, are chasing after 3 kiddos and enjoying every moment of it!
