It has been almost 2 years since Amir completed our kitchen with refaced/painted cabinets and new countertops. It still looks like new. Everything has held up beautifully. We practically live in our kitchen, so it gets lots of use. Some of the minor modifications Amir suggested have become our favorite features. Thank you Amir and Custom Edge!

I chose Custom Edge based on multiple glowing reviews on Houzz. Amir did NOT disappoint! My husband and I wanted our kitchen cabinets refaced. We built our home 4y/a and the quality and finish of our original cabinets was below average. Furthermore, we installed a new stove top and the cabinet below needed to be modified. Amir was fantastic! My husband and I are very pleased with the results. We did not want to change the look or color of the cabinets and he matched the colors PERFECTLY! The doors are now a heavier solid wood and the hinges are a better quality. Most importantly, the finish is much better. Custom Edge uses a much higher quality paint by PPG that I believe will last much longer. The finish on the old cabinets had gotten a sticky feel to them and the paint had started wearing off. It took 2 days for Amir to install the new faces. He prides himself in his work and pays attention to the little details; making sure they are lined up and filling in any joints or nail holes. Furthermore, he follows up! Very nice man; very professional. I am sorry we didn’t know of him to have him install our cabinets in the first place. I highly recommend him!

Amir replaced our cabinet doors and drawers with solid maple wood. We did not need new boxes as they were already maple and in good condition. He redesigned some of our cabinets to become deep drawers, which house Tupperware nicely. Every time I walk into our kitchen I’m surprised at the transformation!

Amir does beautiful, quality work and is very professional. He always arrived when promised, put in a long, full day, and cleaned everything before leaving. When we had a scheduling issue with another trade, he worked with them to accommodate and keep us on schedule. He helped us with all of our concerns and questions, making sound suggestions. He refaced our kitchen cabinets, and the results are amazing. You may have to wait to get on his schedule, because he does all the work himself, but it will be worth the wait.

I would highly recommend Amir. I met Amir after I paid a different company to do my cabinets. The local thief took my money and never finished the work and did not supply the cabinets I paid in full for. I was nervous to work with anyone after that horrible experience. Amir was great. He turn our plain oak kitchen cabinets 3 years ago into a off white glazed cabinets. The we redid our house this year and we repainted out top cabinets white and lowers to a dark gray. It looks unbelievable. His prices are reasonable and gets the job done in a reasonable time

After talking with Amir at a Home Show we requested a quote on line and made an appointment for him to review our project. The job estimate was reasonable and completion time was 1 week. He painted our kitchen cabinets and added full extension slides to all the drawers (what a difference that has made!) He is punctual, organized and does excellent work (and even cleans up after himself!) It looks like we have new cabinets! The job was completed on time. Amir is the person who actually does the work. We have renovated 2 homes since moving to Florida 10 years ago and he is one of the best professionals with whom we have worked...stands by his commitment and his work. Amir gave our kitchen a face lift approximately a year ago. He rebuilt a couple cabinets, replaced drawer slides and added pullouts. In addition he painted all the cabinets and added additional decorative trim. Without spending a fortune, we have a very updated kitchen. His price was reasonable, and his workmanship was excellent. He showed up when scheduled, and I felt very comfortable leaving him in our home while I went to work. I would recommend Amir to all my family and friends. You will be very happy with his work!

Amir showed up on time, kept in touch, made good suggestions for my kitchen cabinet refresh! He replaced old hinges with hidden, soft-close ones. He replaced old pulls with ones that I provided. He added crown moldings to tops of cabinets plus some awkward partial walls. He used a chemical sanding process on the old wooden finish, no mess. Then an acrylic paint on the cabinetry. I don't want to post photos until I have completed everything else in kitchen. I get many compliments on my "tuxedo" cabinets - white uppers and black lowers!

My husband and I hired Amir after seeing what a great job he did on our neighbor's cabinets. We had him reface all of our kitchen cabinets. He and his father worked together and did a beautiful job. He even squeezed us in a couple months earlier than scheduled when he had a delay on another job. We enjoyed having them working in our home too as they were very freindly and easy going. We had a slight problem with a couple drawers though a couple months later but when we contacted him he came as soon as he could and fixed the problem at no charge. We would definitely recommend Custom Edge for cabinet refacing.

Amir recently reconfigured our kitchen,. This included addding a cabinet for a wall oven/microwave combination, modified bottom cabinets to drawers that made storage much more convenient and useful. He also added new door fronts to the upper cabinets and painted all the cabinetry, white, which lighten the whole house. He also refinished an entertainment center as well as the bathroom vanities. Amir is extremely detailed oriented and is a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend Custom Edge to do work in your home or business.

Amir and his dad did an amazing job!! I felt very comfortable having them in my home. They made every effort to be neat as I was living in my home during the redo. In my kitchen, Amir installed new upper cabinets and refaced the lower cabinets. They did such a fantastic job making my lower cabinets look and feel like new!! I did get estimates from 3 other cabinet makers. Amir was very competitive with his price but more importantly he was willing to refurbish my old lower cabinets. I wanted to keep my counter tops which many cabinet makers just wanted me to start anew. I am very pleased with the finished look and get so many compliments!!

We wanted to update our kitchen cabinets. We contacted Amir and he was very prompt in scheduling an appointment to come to our house. Our cabinets were in very good condition but were oak. We were able to pick a paint color that complimented our granite. Amir did an excellent job and was able to install hidden hinges on the doors that really made difference the way the cabinets looked. Amir did an incredible job on refinishing our cherry kitchen cabinets. The original kitchen had a desk space, which I would not use and he made drawers to fit in the space....everything matches PERFECTLY....you would never know that these drawers were an add on. We also inherited an entertainment wall with space for the older type televisions. Amir updated with shelving and again, no one can tell a difference. He is a master!! Also price was reasonable and he has very good suggestions.

Excellent job! I recently did some updating in my kitchen and had a small budget. Using Custom Edge to paint the existing cabinets was a real money-saver compared to new cabinets. Amir worked with me and provided me with an option to do some of the work myself. It was very easy, he explained how to clean and prepare the cabinet boxes and provided the materials I needed to prime and paint them. As part of this project, crown molding was added to the cabinet tops and door hardware installed. It was very easy to get in touch with everyone at Custom Edge at all points of the project and I would recommend them to anyone wanting to update their cabinetry! BB

My husband and I met Amir and his family at the home show and immediately liked them. Amir was friendly and professional and more than fair on pricing. Our cabinet doors were in terrible shape and him and his father worked hard to make them beautiful again. He also worked with us to design a fantastic glass cabinet, redesigned our island, built a new double oven cabinet, and modified our existing cabinetry to fit an under the counter microwave. This is an update to my original review. My husband and I had our kitchen cabinets refaced by Amir, and our bathroom cabinets repainted. We are happy with the outcome of the painting of the bathroom cabinets, but quite frankly the quality of the kitchen cabinets have not held up with use. The cabinets were installed in October, and by January we were contacting Amir because the hinges were coming loose from the wall. After promising to come correct the situation, he did not show up. Disappointing to say the least.

Before hiring Custom Edge, 3 other companies gave me an estimate. Pricing from all 3 fluctuated by the thousands. They were ridiculous. Those other companies assumed I didn't know much about the details of my request and treated me as such. I went into Houzz for ideas and remembered that I could also hire an expert. I called Custom Edge base on positive reviews and spoke to Amir, very honest guy. He educated me on several other options and ways to save on my home project. He could have made more from me but he didn't. He definitely earned my trust and that's all I was looking for. His customer satisfaction is what brings him business and that's what he cared most about. Thank you Amir.

We had Custom Edge paint our kitchen cabinets, build a vent hood cover, install all the finishing touches (crown molding, toe kicks, fillers) and make some additional small lower cabinets. Amir and his father did an amazing job. The cabinets have a beautiful finish, the vent hood is a thing of absolute beauty and the finish work they completed was perfect. We had an issue with the first color we chose for the top cabinets (our issue, not his), and Amir re-painted them without hesitation, even though it was not something he HAD to do. They were neat and clean, and pleasant to work with. They showed up when they said they would, took pride in their work and did a superior job. I have found that those three things are very hard to come by in this area, and almost never in one company. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Great company! I'm very happy with our new kitchen/bathroom cabinets. Refacing was a low cost easy fix and completely changed the look of our rooms! It is a clean easy process which I also liked.

We saw an example of Amir's work at a neighbor's house and knew that painting our cabinets would be just the thing to make our kitchen beautiful. We already had the cabinet configuration we wanted but the cabinets were worn out and not the color we liked. We recently had our dated (pickled maple) kitchen cabinets renewed (Painted/recolored) by Custom Edge. The end result was fantastic! Amir was excellent. He delivered as promised. I hired Amir Roth to recover my kitchen counters and install a new backsplash and to install new laminate flooring in several rooms in my home. It was a pleasure working with Amir. We met Amir Roth, owner of Custom Edge at a home show. We were in the process of a complete home renovation of a 1973 house and had not decided what to do with the kitchen. We liked the layout of our kitchen but everything was in pretty bad shape. We made an appointment with Amir, who promptly came out, on time, and discussed our options with us. He immediately got our style and what we wanted to achieve. We decided to keep the cabinet boxes, painting them inside and out, and have Amir replace the doors, drawer boxes, hardware and shelves. He made really helpful recommendations, like increasing the door size to create an uncluttered European look. He also replaced all of the scalloped or decorative trim with straight boards and trim. We scheduled the job over Christmas. It was delayed because I had selected a difficult paint to mix. Amir worked hard to identify a source for the paint I had picked out. He spent a lot of time on it. We started a bit late, but once started, the project was done on time and with much less mess and disruption than I had anticipated. We were able to use at least parts the kitchen through the whole process. It was quick. We had a few minor punch list items that Amir quickly took care of. Amir struck us as a craftsman, a real professional. He took the time to hang the doors correctly and get things lined up with our crooked and settled cabinets. The only thing I could complain about were some painted edges that were not perfectly straight (and which Amir said he would fix – but I told him not to worry, as I would do it). We are very happen with the way our kitchen turned out and would not hesitate to recommend Custom Edge.
