We met Bruce at an open house for one of his spec homes. The house had lots of small touches that gave it a unique character and made it stand out from so many of the other homes we'd seen. We utilized the same residential designer and interior designer he used on that project for our custom home and our house turned out great. Bruce's pricing was reasonable for the quality of home and he did a great job ensuring everything was done right. We had some unique challenges with our lot, the weather and the city which caused some delays but in the end the house turned out great
Bruce had a lot of good ideas and suggestions throughout the building process and always took care of any issues that came up. The build quality was excellent. Building a custom home isn't for the faint of heart, but Bruce and his team did a great job helping us through the process and was a great partner. I would highly recommend Bruce to anyone looking to build a custom home.

We signed on with Bruce after interviewing several well-respected Houston Inner Loop builders. He was referred to us by a mutual acquaintance and also our designer. Seeing some of his other projects, we were a bit worried we couldn't afford him, but after his bid came in we were pleasantly surprised. His pricing was very competitive. His bid, out of all the other builders, included many more things in his standard package. Being a fixed price builder, that's one of the things you worry about (skimping), but not with Bruce. He uses only quality brands and materials (e.g. Carrier AC, Tyvek, Pella windows, etc.).
The building process was about as smooth as it could've when building a custom home. Not to say it wasn't without hiccups, but Bruce handled everything in a respectful and honest way. First lesson in custom home building - things will go wrong. The most important quality in a builder is integrity and I will say, Bruce is a man of his word. If something was his fault, he always owned up to it.
The second most important quality of a builder is quality and Bruce has that in spades. His subs all were very good quality and reliable. They were also courteous and friendly. His trim carpenter and paint subs were both outstanding.
Bruce, in conjunction with Russell, our project manager, was able to complete our custom home in about 10 months time, which was pretty good, considering the very rainy fall and winter we experienced. Without weather delays, I believe we could've finished in 9 months. Since we moved in, Bruce has been very diligent with the punch list. He's not one to cut ties after the final construction draw. From the level of sheetrock finish to the tiling to the paint, Bruce makes a very high quality product. I would not hesitate to recommend Bruce as a builder to any of my friends (and I have!).

Bruce and his exceptional team built our house last year. We had an excellent experience from start to finish. They are a very talented team - from the designers to the craftsmen. They are very professional, honest and easy to work with. More importantly, they stand by their work. We ended up with a beautiful product. We love our house and if I were ever to build another home, I would work with them again.

Bruce and I have worked together for many years on his projects and just recently completed a beautiful home with him in Tanglewood. We installed an Isokern see thru fireplace with gas logs and a nice decorative, chimney pot. Bruce was great to work with as he met us on the job, kept up with us in the phases of construction and kept his lines of communication open. He is always open to ideas and gathers as much information as he can, which is my ideal in a builder relationship!

Bruce and his team are building another house for a client of mine, and I've been very impressed. They are transparent, detailed, sharp members of my team, and I appreciate the level of effort and skill they provide. The house they are currently building is very difficult with lots of little details, and they don't miss a beat. If there is something that needs clarification, they do not hesitate to contact me (the architect) and ask. I much prefer this over what many builders do which is sort of make it up as they go. Not these guys. They hold weekly meetings with my client, give updates on their robust online communication software, and they give me reports when I ask. I couldn't be happier with the quality of relationship and craftsmanship.

Bruce and team did a great job on the new build at 919 Clearbrook Lane. Great design on the exterior to complement the lot and make the outdoor spaces a feature of the home. Interior flow, purposing, spaciousness and finishes are all fantastic - Impressive!

Winfrey Build is an innovative and honest company to deal with. They build smart homes at a fair price and seem to have original ideas on each home I have visited. I continue to work with this company today in current and hopefully future projects. The space of the house is optimized and the tile, wood and stone features are second to none.
