BUYER BEWARE!! This 1-star review is not so much for the finished home but for the builder's terrible process. Had it not been for our direct involvement, this finished product would be terrible. He sold himself on a being a high-end, detailed-oriented builder. A well-organized and highly knowledgeable builder with integrity. Nothing could be farther from what we experienced with this builder. This is the second home we have built, so this is not our first experience with the building process. Our last home was also new construction. That home had no where near the issues or problems that we endured with this builder and his process! Our project was so poorly managed. So many problems could have been avoided if only this builder truly cared about the process. Instead, he seemed more interested in closing, getting paid and moving onto the next project. It’s been over a year and a half and we are still chasing him down on outstanding punch list items. He never follows through on anything. He hopes that with time we will just forget and he will not be held responsible any longer. He also tries to get out of things that he previously agreed to address. We very rarely post complaints like this one but we have been through too much with this builder. We want to warn others. Building a home is not for the faint of heart. It is a bumpy process and one should prepare for that even with the best of builders. But there are measures that decent builders take to ensure a professional process. One that delivers a quality product for the client. This builder over promises and under delivers in every aspect of the process. Besides the terrible building process with this builder, we are discovering other issues. The home was completed less than two years ago! For example, shingles are falling off our roof! We had 2 roofing companies inspect the roof, only to inform us of the poor and improper installation. Also our HVAC units have failed 3 times in less than a year. We discovered, after closing, that he installed the wrong HVAC units per our contract. They are also improperly sized, which causes other issues. Yet he refuses to switch them out to what is in our contract and what the Manual J recommends. We never approved any such change. He installed mismatched equipment. Every inspector says it is not normal for a new construction home. No decent custom home builder would ever do this especially without the approval of the home owner. He cares nothing about our investment. There were issues with paint, trim, gutters and more. The driveway had to be torn up and redone shortly after we moved in! New projects with great architects and great designers are just another Instagram opportunity for him to take credit. This has truly been the most exhausting, most stressful, unpleasant experience that I have ever been through since the moment we went under contract! And this is not typical of all home building experiences as the builder would argue. Beware!

Tyler did an awesome job for us. His attention to detail and getting it right, made working with him easy and a pleasure.

You can be assured that if you hire this builder he is going to give you every attention to detail that you, the client, deserves. We hired Renaudin Builders to complete an exterior renovation on our home in the Memorial Villages which consisted of adding a 600sf covered patio, turf and new landscaping to the backyard, new doors and windows and an overall face lift on the exterior of the home. Tyler navigated the entire process from permitting to final inspection and through all the little details that occur during a remodel with class and ease. The work was completed on schedule and on budget and the quality of work is outstanding. I couldn't possibly recommend this company any higher based on our experience.
