When you’re building a home from the ground up—a home you’ve spent almost 20 years dreaming of and planning for—there are an overwhelming number of decisions to make, and few of these, if any, are as important as choosing your builder. That being said, not a day goes by in our new, gorgeous, modern bungalow that we don’t thank our lucky stars for having decided to go with Prasada Homes. I can’t imagine builders coming any better than Rob Toon. Assisted by Alex and Adam and a team of talented trades, the list of positives we use when summing up Rob’s character and work ethic is long, but at the top would have to be talented, trustworthy, respectful, detail-oriented, diligent, and so very, very patient. Building during Covid, next to a protected city woodlot and all the bureaucratic and environmental hurdles that brings, with some very challenging neighbours, and a tight budget, is not for the faint of heart, but Rob stickhandled our build like a star centre. Plus, if we needed any further proof, our dog absolutely adored him. People throw the term “dream home” around all the time but thanks to Rob and Prasada Homes, our dream is now a reality.

I am in the process of moving into my newly completed Prasada-built home, and couldn’t be happier. Working with Rob is a pleasure. Prasada recently completed a renovation project in my home. Choosing a contractor can sometimes be a daunting task, but I would not hesitate to work with Rob and his team again. I felt comfortable from the get go. Rob really listened to me and took note of all the things that were important to me. Once the scope of the project was determined, I was given a detailed quote. Rob and the team were absolutely fantastic to work with. From early in the design process it was clear how customer-focused Rob and the PRASADA team was. We were doing a significant ground floor renovation including front hall and kitchen. The design came together beautifully and Rob easily incorporated all of our wishes concerning layout and finish quality. The demolition and construction phases were well coordinated with the team even working around (and through) our summer vacation. The final product surpassed our expectations. We are totally happy with the results. The entire site team (Rob, Alex and Vlad) were a pleasure to work with and no request was too small, no detail too insignificant. They even found us incredible deals on granite, sinks and door hardware! We would use PRASADA again in a heartbeat!!
