I'd highly recommend Murray and Ryan for any buidling work. They did a second and third story addition to our house in Birchgrove. Exception quality and really great at the process. Were really good at keeping the neighbours happy as well which is really important.

MJH recently completed a major renovation for me and did a fantastic job. Total refurb of kitchen and living areas, new floors, new doors and external deck and pergola. I couldn’t be happier. They were super professional and always talked to me if they had concerns about anything or thought something needed rethinking. They had great tradespeople as well - the best joiner! They pay close attention to detail and quality. And they were tidy!!! Can’t recimmend them highly enough!

Murray and the team at MJH Building do their absolute best to make building and renovating the best it can be. MJH recently finished a major renovation for us and we have nothing but praise for the process and the work done. Murray is clear with his communication and ever helpful in explaining details. He'd listen to concerns and always work towards getting the best result. He's reliable, calm and trustworthy - making the process as stress-free as possible. Murray runs a tight ship! Neighbours, despite living through the construction, were always very complementary of the site and the contractors. Everything was kept clean and organised. MJH take pride in the work they do and aren't out looking for a shortcut. Trades and contractors were held to account until the job was done right and to the expected high standard. We're absolutely thrilled with our new home and can't recommend MJH highly enough.

We have been working with MJH Building over the last five years as we repair and gradually restore our house in Sydney’s inner west. Murray and his team did a fantastic job of turning our crumbling studio and dated pool area into a really beautiful space, including making a bespoke ‘aged’ barn door. Murray provided a very detailed quote and had an excellent team of contractors on hand to deliver the build. They have also renovated a period bathroom which was challenging due to its size and returned our front tiled verandah back to a welcoming space. I am very particular about finish and quality, and the work done by Murray and the team has stood the test of time. 5 years on it looks as good as it did when it was completed. Murray continues to assist and advise us on our house and has suggested great solutions for remedying past building decisions as well as being open to exploring new materials and construction methods. I can recommend MJH Building for all your building needs.

Renovating our home in Sydney’s Inner West was one of the most pleasurable and positive experiences of our lives and that’s all thanks to Murray Harris and the team from MJH Building Services. Like any young family, we were working to a tight budget but ours needed to cover an ambitious design. We were able to achieve our architect’s vision without compromise because Murray combined excellent project management skills with construction expertise to create a home that we are immensely proud of. From demolition to completion, we had full visibility of the budget and MJH stuck to the construction schedule which meant we were spared the stress normally associated with home renovation. Murray was also quick to consult with us on all aesthetic features but he took responsibility for construction and engineering decisions which is a bonus when you’re trying to do your day-job and raise a family at the same time. We enjoyed the experience immensely and look forward to taking on another project with MJH in the future.

There is no doubt, that when you employ a builder you want them to be reliable and consistent. Murray initially renovated my house which had some challenges. He and his team always stayed calm and worked through any obstacles that were presented. He has backed up the construction with the quick fixing of any defects and updates with out any problems. Nothing is a problem for Murray. I have since employed Murray to work on other parts of my house, and the results are excellent.
