We had our home built 2 years ago by Meadowbrook. We had a great experience and Erin Stoddard was extremely helpful and pleasant every time we worked with her. We would definitely use Meadowbrook again. Excellent quality, great design and service.

Would give this builder zero stars if allowed. They were wonderful until you put money down then the issues. From telling us our home would be completed in September, then November and ultimately didn’t move in until 3 days before Christmas! Also finding out we had a look out basement which required us to have a deck. We didn’t want the maintenances a deck yet they tried to sell this to us as a positive. We did finally with a lawyer and relator come out ahead on this one with a maintenance free deck, however still messed up our plan of our backyard layout. Then now that we are in our home have had nothing but problems. Like others have said, basement has leaked (3 times in 5 months!), punch list from closing has taken 3 months to fix and 2 month items are still not fixed 5 months later. No sod, no driveway etc. Thank goodness we have a relator, lawyer, etc. however even with those individuals assisting Aladdin is not responding to anyone even the head of the well known large relator company. They are noncommittal regarding timelines of when work with be completed. Stay far far away from this builder as they have zero customer service skills and don’t take pride in their work nor care about anything but getting your money.

We purchased the Olivetree Ranch from Meadowbrook Builders last May. Its the fourth house we had built. It's in a great community . Close to the expressways. Quality built, attention to detail, and a great warranty program that they follow thru on. Highly recommend.

In May of 2016 we decided to embark on the adventure of building our forever home. After months of looking we decided on building with Medow Brook Builders, the fact that they are Semi- Custom is what sold us! The entire team is friendly and professional! Plus the competitive pricing is also something that we loved! Melissa worked with us to make sure all the details where perfect as far as our finishes. She was patient and always replied to questions and emails in a timely manner. Once construction began everything went really smoothly with he help of Steve the general contractor. He was a pleasure to work with... this is our forever home so I wanted everything to be perfect. He understood that and instead of telling me no, he would make things work, come up with a solution or go into detail on why my idea wouldn't work and in some situations come up with and even better idea! We were able to add personal touches in our home and we loved that! Melissa and Steve were a pleasure to work with. In life nothing is going to ever be completely perfect but if there was something that we were not happy with the situation was rectified immediately. I would highly recommend Medowbrook Builders. The customer service was outstanding, even though we have now been in the house almost 60 days the kindness, check-ins and an issues are still addressed immediately! If you choose to build your home with them it will be well worth it!

Meadowbrook and all who have done work on our home, I wanted to reach out to you to let you know that the level of customer service; the care, the detail, the personable actions that Steve Dalton and Jason Komis have displayed during our building process and walk through process, has been tremendous. We had an overall great experience through out our build and whenever there was an issue/concern it was resolved. I am in customer service my self and know that it is not an easy job. Steve and Jason displayed an eagerness to make sure that I was nothing but HAPPY with my home. It's hard to get that level of passion from people and I just felt it necessary to share this with you. Thank you and we can't wait to close on our new Meadowbrook home.

My husband and I chose Meadowbrook Builders. We fell in love with a specific model they offered and knew we had found what we (mainly I) had been envisioning for our family. I had been a renter for over a decade; this would be my first home… and I was building it! My anxiety was through the roof, as you can imagine. Gary, the initial contact at Meadowbrook, was extremely helpful with my 347836248 different questions. After signing the initial contract to reserve the lot, we went on and met Melissa. She is the main contact throughout the build process and she also manages the options, colors, etc. I was completely overwhelmed at the options meeting when you choose EVERYTHING for the house both inside and out. Melissa was extremely patient and also quite helpful when I was completely indecisive about what matched with what. She was also able to accommodate various requests I had which was very helpful (cabinet drawers vs cabinet doors, etc). The longest part of the building process was waiting for excavation. It took about 3 months from when we signed the contract to when we broke ground. Longest wait ever! Once the process had begun, though, everything moved very quickly after that. It took about 3.5 - 4 months from excavation to completion. During the building process, a few minor issues arose. This is to be expected with any builder, in my opinion. It’s how Meadowbrook handled the issues that really impressed me. Melissa was always on top of it and had them resolved in a timely fashion. Prior to closing, I had hired a home inspector. Even though this was a new home, I had heard horror stories about other builders cutting corners and houses not being structurally sound. Once the inspector had completed his inspection, I was told he was impressed with the quality of the build and there were no glaring issues. A few small things, mainly code related (globe on light in stairway to basement being needed, things like that) were found to which Meadowbrook fixed prior to closing. A few months into living in my dream home, a couple of minor issues came up/were noticed. I contacted Lisa and she had the issues resolved within a day or two. Things are bound to go wrong with any new or pre-existing home, I get it. A few less than positive things I will note, though…. Their standard wood flooring is absolutely awful. It’s engineered hard wood… these floors scratch and gouge so easily but because it has such a thin layer of veneer on top, they cannot be re-sanded. I would definitely keep that in mind when thinking about what to upgrade and what not too. At the very least have in mind new floors being needed in a few years.. My floors are embarrassing and I’ve only lived there 3 months. We have 3 dogs whose nails are always trimmed/grinded. I’ve lived in other houses where in the sunlight, you can see very light surface scratches on the hardwood floors from the dogs… But on these floors, they are gouged to where you can see right through to the plywood, sunlight or not. Also, their standard carpeting is pretty bad too. It is literally falling apart (I see pieces of carpeting floating around my house.) We chose the standard carpeting, though, because we were a winter build and that meant no grass, lots of dirt/mud and 3 dogs. We figured this carpet should last us a year or two until we get it replaced… After living here, I’d be very surprised if the carpet held up for a year. Oh, and speaking of winter builds, that is a whole other level of frustration. Being built at that time meant relying A LOT on the weather, closing on our home with no sod, no driveway, no sidewalk and no walkway. All of these things were added to a punch list to be completed after closing. You are then at the builders (and their contractors) mercy to have these completed in a timely manner. Some were done timely and others you will be waiting a bit. 6/28/17 As an update- We have lived in our home a year and a half now. The floors are disgusting. The color is literally wearing off in the high traffic areas, floor boards are buckling and warping, the color is peeling off from the sides of the boards, there are gouges straight down to the plywood. These floors look like they are a thousand years old. I have contacted Meadowbrook consistently over the last year and a half about these. They informed me they will not be replacing them despite the poor quality of these "wood floors" that they advertise. Meadowbrook has shown me that they do not stand behind their products.
