Lemburg House

If there were an option to give more than 5 stars I would. Lemburg House is great. My husband and I interviewed multiple builders before selecting Lemburg House to build our modern Scandinavian-meets-Texas-Hill-Country dream farmhouse near Albert, TX. From the moment we met Ben Fuller with Lemburg House we knew we had found our guy and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. Ben and his team (including Knox and Kyle) are amazing. Honest to the core. Reliable. Communicative. Incredible attention to detail. PATIENT. (For context: I am totally THAT client who will sample 15 shades of white to get just the right shade.) And yet still... Ben and his team managed any/all of my concerns throughout the building process. Especially having never owned a home in a rural setting (wells, pump houses, septic systems, scorpions, visiting cattle, electric fences, etc), Ben, Kyle, and Knox have been invaluable resources to us since the beginning and still are to this day even after our project is complete. Together with their local subs (an ode to Tom the artisan who painted our ceiling beams the precisely perfect shade of greige and the tile artisan who managed to set the shower tile so precisely so as to not require any sort of edging thereby achieving that minimalist look we wanted) Lemburg House surpassed all of our expectations and we are so happy with the final product. Ben was also always incredibly respectful of our budget and did his best to work within in it. In summary, here we sit in our new home... taking in the Hill Country sunset views and watching our kids run in circles in the backyard. We couldn’t be more thankful for our builder who got us here. If you are looking for a builder in the Texas Hill Country – you MUST call Lemburg House now. You will be glad you did.

Working with Lemburg House on the German Farmhouse Restoration was an amazing process in the rebirth of a 125 year old property. Of course, we didn’t know what to expect when working on a property such as this, but Lemburg House was engaged at every step. Their creativity when a challenging issue arose provided peace and confidence as we moved to completion. The abundant vintage materials that were present on the property were repurposed in the project and Lemburg House had expert craftsmen every step of the way to handle each individualized project. The attention to detail in our project made the restoration a very satisfying experience. Incorporating both heritage and modern materials makes our home a gratifying space to live and entertain guests and family. We are so very pleased with the finished product and the house honors the area’s German heritage while attaining a modern living environment that is both comfortable and classy. We would most certainly recommend Lemburg House for anyone’s special project.

My wife and I hired Lemburg House to build our home here in Fredericksburg. I design homes for a living so needless to say I'm a bit picky about who builds for me. The experience with Ben and his team couldn't have been better. Their attention to detail is second to none. We’ve had many homes in our 60-plus years, but the house Lemburg built for us is our “dream home” and it is everything we hoped it would be. Having a builder that allowed us to select specific materials and design options, both inside and out, makes this home extra special to us. Even more important, having a builder that paid such close attention to detail to ensure that the quality of each phase was as perfect as possible, is something we feel is quite rare in this day and time. We appreciate the fact that Lemburg House chose the best craftsmen they could find, from the framers, to the electricians, to the cabinet makers. Not to mention their onsite superintendent, Kyle Parsons, who was always there for us if we had questions or concerns. Overall, we believe that Lemburg House went above and beyond, and feel certain that is their goal with every home they build. Lemburg House was an absolute pleasure to work. We highly recommend them to anyone planning a custom build.

We enjoyed working with Lemburg House to build a home for our family. They are hard working, honest, and dependable. They also only hire honest and dependable subcontractors. Whenever we visited the homesite to see progress or look at particular items, the subcontractors were always respectful and courteous. After listening to my neighbor's construction workers while I was outside watering plants (and hearing horrible language and very loud music), I realized how valuable this was and it made me appreciate who we picked as a builder even more! My husband designs homes as a living and he is very particular, so it was important to me to work with a builder who is as particular as he is and willing to work with his Type A Personality. We found the perfect match with Ben and Kyle. They are easy to work with and quick to respond. Behind the scenes, Trish genuinely cares about each family and goes above and beyond to make sure the process goes as smoothly as possible. I would choose Lemburg House all over again!
